    If I could give negative stars I would. They had a HVAC malfunction during the spring/early summer…read more(they won't tell us exactly when) and didn't notify any of their storage customers. The HVAC malfunction caused the moisture levels in our storage unit to increase so much that most of our items were covered in thick, yellow mold. They won't reimburse us for any of our belongings, any of our storage fees, they won't allow us to bring in a company to test the mold and they won't allow us to bring in a cleaning crew to help remediate the items. We've even offered to pay for the cleaning ourselves (something I don't feel we should have to do) Instead they want us to abandon our belongings, which they would sell at auction and keep the money for. Avoid this location and cubesmart entirely. CubeSmart doesn't have full control of this facility, they just handle the day-to-day management and the property is privately owned. They absolutely do not care about your stored items, they just want your monthly fee.

I was told my rate would not go up if I took the unit by manager by name of Paul. Six months later I got a notice that my rent was going up 15% and to expect this until it reaches a very over priced unaffordable rate. They lied to me to get me in.

    I was not impressed with the Customer Service Representative at the desk on Friday, 5/29/21. My…read moresister was moving. She went in to obtain info on a unit. The lady at the desk yelled at her and said she could help at the moment that it would be awhile. No time frame. I then went in to assist. I barely put my foot in the door, lady yelled " I won't be able to help you now" I asked how long. She replied maybe an hour or so. Her tone was awful and very rude. I reminded her we were going to be paying customers. A better approach would of been for her to politely let us know it could be an hour before we were even spoken to. Needless to say we took our business a friendly storage facility in Hudson MA. Please train staff that customers are the reason she has a job. Treating one with disrespect does not work. Thank you!     I absolutely DO NOT recommend this storage unit to anyone. Poor customer service, my belongings…read morecame out MOLDY from a climate controlled unit, and they increased the price $10 a month shortly after I moved my stuff in. Moving my belongings out of this storage unit, I found that much of it was moldy. I want to make it clear that NOTHING was moldy before it went into the storage unit. It was in storage for 11 months. I was told that this was a climate controlled unit (which is why I chose it), so I am baffled as to how so much mold grew on my belongings. Shortly after I moved in, the company increased my rent by $10 a month. Doing this so soon after I moved in really makes it seem like they give you a more reasonable rate at move-in, but then increase the prices as soon as your stuff is in there and would be a pain to move to another facility. Lastly, when I moved in the woman in the office told me that the outside door (that leads into the hallway where my unit was) was always unlocked and so she did not give me a key (I was given the impression that keys were not issued since the door was to remain unlocked). When I went to get my belongings, I called ahead to let them know and to make sure that the door would be unlocked (I had gone once to check on my belongings and was unable to get in because the door was locked). The woman on the phone told me that I was given a key when I moved in and that the office was closed the next day so no one could help me. When I assured her that I was never issued a key, she told me that I may have just forgotten that I was given one and that it would cost me $25 for a replacement. I am 100% certain that I was never issued a key for this door, but the storage unit office insisted on blaming this on me and refused to offer me any type of solution. Because of this, we had to reschedule our movers that were supposed to arrive the next day. If you are looking for a fair company that cares about their customers and a safe place to keep your belongings, stay far away from this storage unit.
