The bun and toppings (LTPO) were all good. The meat was quite reminiscent of a lower-quality, frozen, store-bought patty. It was juicy, but there wasn't any flavor to it. The side of onion rings that came with the burger were quite delicious... the best part of the meal. They were thick cut in a tasty, thinner batter. Service: Our server was also the bartender. She was friendly and attentive. She also took our order, including the changes, from memory. This always impresses me. Overall, it's a decent little local place to stop in for a quick bite, a drink, and maybe shoot some pool, but we won't drive the hour again to make a special trip there. I didn't get any food but it looked and smelled good. They seem to specialize in hamburgers. The drinks are really cheap. I had seven imported beers (Heineken) and my tab was $31. Not sure about the cocktails. The best part of this place is the vibe is so fun. It's a great neighborhood bar with an awesome staff.

Beyond that, there's pool and some very distinct atmosphere. You're here for the standard taps at rock bottom prices, ya heard? Don't come calling for craft or cocktails (well, maybe a rum & Coke). Have dollar bills ready, maybe deal some cards if you keep it on the level, rack 'em in the billiard area next room over, and peep the ship room itself in the back. (It was empty and dark when I visited, but I walked around anyway - felt like I wasn't alone, so bonus points for that creepy Amityville Horror feel.) I don't claim to know legit, hardcore Worcester, but this seemed like a small slice of it at the base of Green Street. See pics for ambience and decide accordingly if this is your cup of 'Gansett. (If you can imagine the 2010 edges of Washington DC's H Street district, you're in the ballpark.). *FYI: Four police cruisers passed by me semi-urgently at my Lamartine@Harding parking spot even as I drafted this review. We saw pictures on yelp about their different flavors of margaritas. The passionfruit margaritas were amazing! Paige was the bartender and she is top notch. She was super friendly, helpful and was genuinely happy we were here. You don't usually find that in a neighborhood bar. They had a great brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays. We'll be back to try the smash burger. For now the homemade fried pickles were so good! The cowboy butter ranch put it over the edge. We'll be back!
