My doctor referred me here for my pharmacy needs, in part because my insurance coverage is awful. I've only been by a few times but the service has been consistently good. I get a call shortly after my doc puts in my prescription, and it takes them a few days to fill but they are friendly on site and happy to meet with me. At most pharmacies, they ask you if you have questions for the pharmacist almost as a formality but here, they will come around the corner and sit with you to answer questions, discuss concerns or side effects, etc. and have a great attitude while doing so. The location also has a small shop on site for diabetic supplies and other health items, and I haven't had any issues finding parking. NOTE: They're only open weekdays, 9-5, so you may have to plan ahead, but it's worth it IMO. read more

I used to purchase the generic or compounded form of Wagovy (semaglutide) from ACRX where I experienced frequent stomach issues. I stuck with them because they were the cheapest place to buy semaglutide. My insurance does not cover this medication, so I'm paying directly out-of-pocket. When their price increased to $300.00 per month for the maximum dosage of semaglutide (2.4 mg), I decided to go directly to the makers of Wagovy to do a price comparison - to my surprise, I discovered that for the 1 month supply of the pill form (2.4 mg) cost $300.00 while the injectables cost $349.00. So, I switched to Wavogy. It is significantly more effective (less cravings and feeling fuller longer) and with no side effects at all! I was quite shocked and happy. I highly recommend going directly to company that makes the product, so you know that you are receiving the real drug that has been FDA approved and with the oversight of their labs. At the very least, check their prices. UPDATE: After posting the review, they called and informed me that they've reduced their prices on the compounded semaglutide. Getting a simple rx filled is always difficult. It's a common one and when we had an issue (took 5 days to "find" it once sent by physician), the customer service from Jerry was atrocious. Accused my doctor of lying to me (that they didn't really send it), that I was lying or calling wrong pharmacy, and then incredibly, told me there were customers in front of him and he had to go. It was all so bizarre! I expected someone to just say sorry, let's figure this out and get the rx done. I called back and spoke to manager Cody who was very nice and apologetic. Eventually we got it filled. I assumed it was one time problem. Getting a re-fill should be so simple, but again, delayed, rude on phone, no explanation or apology for delay, and just a pain in the neck. Definitely switching to a different compounding pharmacy for next fill. There are others to choose from and if Jerry doesn't want my business, I'm happy to go elsewhere. read more

ACRX has the worst staff. Let me start by saying how they put me on hold for the longest time ever every time I called. I was not a new patient I called this place before regarding my medicine. I got a voice message on a Friday from Rita saying they received my new prescription and to call back she wanted to go over a couple things. I called back and asked for her (worst mistake ever) the person who answered said she was taking a break and to call back in 10 minutes. I called back in maybe 15-20 minutes, the person who answered said she was not available and to call back in 30 minutes because she was on lunch break. I then explained what happened during my first phone call and maybe he can talk to me about the "couple things". He said I need to wait for her I then asked him: what would happen if Rita doesn't come back, who would take care of the prescriptions? of course he didn't have an answer. I called back and the other guy who answered the phone said that I don't have any prescription (after he put me on hold for like 2 times I think). I said Rita called and left a message saying they received my prescription, he then responded: "Rita is the one who said you don't have a prescription" WTH I was astonished to hear that. I told him how they are so bad, how can they play with the medication like that. Now listen to this, later in the day I got a phone call from Rita saying your medication will be ready on Thursday!!! Say what??? So what happened to the "couple things" she wanted to go over?" From the first time I called the person who answered could have taken care of me. They didn't send me a message to say the medication was ready to be picked up on Thursday so I called on Friday and they were not sure it was going to be ready by Friday either!!! The staff at this pharmacy are HORRIBLE!!! read more

I got a Semiglutide (ozempic) prescription to fill. I have been on it since March and have been loosing 2-4 pounds a week for $300. With ACRX, I could fail to notice that, I stopped loosing weight and have more energy, I checked the label and found vit B. $500 for vit B with the med is concerning and no one even bothered to ask me if I want to pay for vit B. Talked to the pharmacist and was told thats how they make it and they can't just sell me semiglutide on the next refill. I asked for a refund and I was told the doctor prescribed the vit B. I am sure the dr.was told they make it only that way. Its a wrip off. $200 extra for something that cost $300 just to sell vit B for &200. Don't waste your money. You won't get a warning. read more

Stay away if your life depends on them getting your medications! I have stage 4 cancer and spoke with them BEFORE my doctor called in an order for high dose IV Vit C, which has been proven to work with the chemo I am currently on. We looked for a compound pharmacy that could get it in a timely manner. I was assured by the pharmacist himself he could fulfill the prescription within a week and quoted me a price. My doctor sent in my prescription. The first week came and went, I was then told it would be one more week and would be there today (2 weeks later) I called this morning to verify it was there and was told it would be there today and they would call as soon as it was ready for me to pick up. Just called again as I had not heard back from them and was told that the saline bags were not delivered and that they would have to find someone else to buy them from. If they can't get 12 bags of saline in two weeks, there is something seriously wrong with them! Further, they know I am terminal and have been waiting on this as a last hope ... but they clearly have no concern for their customers. Again, if your life depends on them ... Can't say enough good things about ACRx on Soaring Gulls. They are one of the few "clean room" sterile compounding pharmacies in LV. They supply my wife's bioidentical hormone creme. And they carry a complete line of supplements, even those my doctor prescribes. And on the chance they don't have them, they'll go out of their way to get them for me. Jerry has incredible expertise in compounding so many different type of medications that are not available from your regular pharmacy.
