My special compounded medication was requested by my doctor, then Well Care called me to set-up pick-up or delivery...delivery was free, so why not? I had a four hour window today and the driver called when he was on his way, I signed for my order, paid with a check, all within the comfort of my home. It was much easier than I was anticipating. Ordered a refill 5 days prior and was scheduled to be delivered yesterday. Came here but did not leave it at the front door as they have done all previous times. Called them and was told it would be delivered today. Still no medication! This is not the first time I've had to deal with their incompetence. What if this was heart medication? I was outreached after my review by WellCare pharmacy and they reported that they will be making changes to ensure that this issue doesn't happen again. They discussed their business model and their intensions to provide great customer service to each customer and community member. They reported they were disheartened to hear of my experience especially since I am a long standing client. They provided empathy and compassion as well as a solution focused approach to hormonal protocol to ensure proper dispensing. I am going to provide WellCare another chance to show me that there word is true. I look forward to these needed changes not only for myself but for other women who are on hormone replacement therapy. I just got off the phone with Jordan in Las Vegas. This young man was extremely helpful, my hormone replacement will be at half the cost of the other pharmacy and they deliver for free! I called two other places previously and was put on hold for 10 minutes because my birthdate was the same as someone else's, I really doubt I was the only one born on that day! Lol! Second place I called the pharmacists that takes care of compounding was going to be sick till next week, I wish I had the ability to know how long I'd be sick for. This is the best pharmacy I have EVER been to! The pharmacist, Jon, goes out of his way and goes beyond "the call of duty" to help his patients. I have never experienced such a caring and persevering pharmacist in all my life! Pharmacy prices are very reasonable and although they offer free delivery service, I often pick up my Rx, which allows me the chance to discuss any health questions I may have with Jon vis-à-vis. He may not be my primary doc, but he is extremely knowledgeable and I value his opinion and input. Got a letter from their attorney for being late on a $60 bill for my prescription. I received my prescription in April, was told I'd be billed. Since I have insurance, a statement was what I expected because I have a co-pay, and fees vary. Needless to say I never received a statement. 5 months later I get a letter from an attorney threatening me that if I do not pay the $60 I owe the pharmacy, they will "review my account and make recommendations to the creditor for the most effective collection method allowable under state and federal law". I recommend they spend money on a stamp and mail out accurate statements, rather then spend money on attorney fees who send threatening letters. Two stars for prompt delivery and polite customer service.i I think it's their billing department that is giving them a bad rep. Unprofessional. read more

worst service ever!! from the male, bald staff !!! came to pick up a RX but was told that they tried to call me to confirm but I did not answer. I told him that my phone was with me all day. "Oh!, we called your MD as they did not send us a contact number for you!" I asked " what does this mean?" My thinking was "do I come some other day to give them time to compound my prescription or can do they it while I wait?" I honestly do not know. The male, bald guy called me "annoying and that I should leave!" I was kicked out (!!!) for asking a question. Maybe because they were about to close that night and did not want to stay any longer by answering my question. But this guy (?) wear scrubs looking like he is a professional. I was not fooled though, he was uncouthed and obviously does not have the training or background to be professional. Never coming back! read more

I thought the pharmacy was very nice. They delivered a couple of times. I was told free delivery etc.. This was an Attorney or Doctor lien? I don't know which one. I did not have enough money in the settlement and wanted to know what my medical bills were so after I had asked my attorney and finally received the bills after 4 or 5 months. When I saw the bill I could not believe the charges. It was close to $2000.00 but they gave a discount and now it was $980. This still seemed high for 4 generic prescriptions (Naproxen). I called the pharmacy and they gave me a break down and it totaled under $100.00. I gave all my information and they looked it up. Than they said someone would call me back to confirm. Than I emailed my attorney to let them know. They next day Wellcare still did not call me back and I called again and the girl said the person I was suppose to talk to just left. The next day again same thing. Than I received a letter from my attorney that the were dropping me because I lied about the phone call. I called back to Well Care and now they told me they could not talk to me and to talk to my attorney. It is an attorney/pharmacy relationship. I explained I want to pay this off and why so high. I said this is my case and I hired my attorney. They said sorry. I explained again what happened and can they tell me why my bill is so high. They said they don't have any information. They also said Well Care is a lien pharmacy? hmm ok. So again I asked well can you tell me how much a prescription of naproxen 500MG is ? hesitating and put me on hold for 10 minutes and came back and said 160.00. They also said They did not know who I spoke with about the bill under $100.00. In addition I know how many prescriptions I got and there were too many. I thought I would share this information. Surprisingly the worst customer service I have EVER received was actually from Well Care Pharmacy and the owner Marc Barbose. I decided to drive down to their location to hand them my prescriptions', insurance, and workers compensation information face to face as it can get a little bit complicated with my stuff and met the owner Marc Barbose. He and his staff were friendly, seemed to understand my needs, and explained all of their process and delivery options especially since I live in Centennial Hills almost 35 miles one way to their pharmacy. I was excited about my new pharmacy and all that it had to offer, but it didn't last. The very next day I received 2 different phone calls from both a male and a female with conflicting information about their attempts to fill my prescription and confusing themselves the information given to them with my insurance and workers comp. I immediately called them back and thought it was sorted out, but to my surprise I received another phone call from the male tech. again describing the same exact issue that was already dealt with. Then later that same day I received a voice male stating that my prescription was now filled and had all been approved with my workers comp. and that "they were waiting on how to deliver them", but I wasn't able to get back to them until the next day. I contacted them the next day only to discover that they had no clue what I was talking about and that they still needed my workers comp. information. Now I was completely confused and I had asked to speak to the owner Marc (who when I met him handed me his personal card and stated "if you have any problems please call me personally"). The day ended without a return phone call from the owner Marc and so the next day I attempted to contact him at the Pharmacy and he wasn't there. I then received a voice mail from the male tech. again now stating that "there was a glitch with their insurance system and that they couldn't fix it" so he was now recommending my prescriptions be sent to another pharmacy. I told him I wanted to speak to the owner Marc personally and he placed me on hold only to return stating that he was with a customer and he would call me back and well he never did. The next day I phoned him again and was placed on a never ending hold. I never was able to speak with him and in fact he never to this day has ever called me. I don't believe this is the type of customer service you want to send your patients to and I just thought it would be prudent for all of you to know. read more

I used Partell for many years and just before they closed their W. Charleston location they became very poor with customer service (taking a week or more to fill an Rx; filling the same Rx twice; rates going up). Decided to look for another compounding pharmacy and found Well Care who is doing an OUTSTANDING job. I even have them compounding my pets meds. They deliver for free and sometimes next day service. Can't give them higher KUDOS. read more

Horrible customer service. My scripts always seem to get "lost" and they can't deliver in time for my next dose. Somehow my "copay is more expensive than our charge" for my medication. Which makes no sense because my copay is supposed to be a percentage of the medications cost. I will be switching to another compounding pharmacy. One that doesn't "lose" important information or make me wait forever to pick up a script. read more

I went to the east Charleston location for a attorney lien prescription, The staff was nice I have all my paperwork and was told it would be about 10 to 15 minutes, after 45 minutes I finally decided to just check in with the front desk to find out everything had been ready on time they just forgot to tell me , i'm just curious how long I would have waited until they did tell me if I didn't tell them first..so I have to give them two stars based on that. I was in a slip and fall accident while i was grocery shopping so i went to go see my doctor. the doctor recommended me to Well Care Pharmacy since they offer free delivery. i liked that because i was still in pain from my accident. So i called them and they were really friendly. i asked them if they could deliver my medications to my doctor's office since i had to go back the next day and they said they could, that they offer free delivery to wherever is more convenient for me. the next day when i went to my doctors appointment the driver had already delivered my medications before i even got there. i loved this pharmacy and their wonderful service. read more

This pharmacy has normally been great. I have to change my rating because my wife was in the hospital with pneumonia and she needed her breo, spriva and combivent resprimat inhalers. I called the day of she got out of the hospital and they said that they had to order it and they would be delivered the next day between 2-5 pm. At 4:30 I called and the woman was s rude to me. She said that nothing had been ordered and I said that I had talked to someone and they said it would be ordered. Well apparently, it didn't go thru because she does the ordering!! I said well can we order it now and the said they did and it will be from 2-5 pm. By this time my wives celexa and ambien came in and now it's 4:55 pm I called them and they said that everything will here between 6-9. Now here, our whole day and night is ruined because f them and not to mention my wife's health going down hill. I'll probably have to take her back to the hospital because of their negligence. They are ok if you have to use them because you can't go out to pick up your script. But if you can, use another pharmacy. read more
