I went in to browse around and see if anything sounded good before the start of the football season. That was a mistake for my wallet because everything looked like I needed it. They do a great job of keeping everything organized here. Sabres and Bills stuff in different sections, sports cards and trading cards broken down into different spots on the other side. They also have so much room for the events that they hold here. Along with the amount of product they have, they also have some cool pop culture collectibles on display which makes the whole place have a fun feel. Service here is good. Sometimes the value is a little high. Some markups on trading cards could be a little lower but oh well, that's the sign of the times I guess. They claimed to only have 1 yet in the past 30 days I've ordered 7 of them and there's currently another one listed on their website. Of course they raised the price 10% after waiting 25 hours to post it on the site. And of course they can't price match it because it's not within 24 hours. (The fact that they took more than 24 hours to post it on their site doesn't matter) My account rep said they'd price match a price within the last 24 hours. They take 25-26 hours to post another item in stock to get around that price matching. Very sketchy and slimy sales team. Reflects poorly on the owners and the company as a whole. I gave them 2 stars simply because the shipping has been quick.

I came across this store from boyfriend who is in the military and currently stationed in Buffalo. As an anniversary gift he was on the hunt for issue #300 of the amazing Spider-Man. I've been trying for years to get a hold of this comic but could never find it at a reasonable price nor in good condition. My boyfriend found Empire Comics and talked with the store owners. They went above and beyond to help him! Not only did they managed to get a hold of the comic but were able to get one that was highly graded! I was in disbelief when I saw it and had to see this place for myself! I'm from CA and during my visit to see my boyfriend during the holidays, I went in to the store. I was welcomed by the store owners who were incredibly friendly and down to earth. They are fluent in all marvel and some anime. The store has a ton of good finds but if your looking for something specific they will go above and beyond to help you find it. As a comic collector and marvel nerd this means the world to me. I strongly value a business that goes above and beyond for their customers. After choosing a handful of comics, the store owners were kind enough to throw in a free comic and because I told them of my love for Spider-Man, they also threw in a free poster. But the best part was, free Christmas cookies were thrown in too! I had such a blast the entire time I was there. I really appreciate that they were so welcoming unlike other comic book stores who are often after your money or feel superior in their knowledge and like to belittle their customers. Went to hand over my card and without missing a beat in his phone conversation the guy says "no plastic". I'm thinking "oh wow okay contactless pay only is intense but i totally get it" and pull up my Apple pay. Still on the phone: no. Cash only. Us: wait. Really? Okay uh do you have an atm Still on phone: no. Whoever he was on the phone said something along the lines of: "you really have to start taking them" because he said "nope. Not doing it. Cash only" He wasn't wearing a mask but he was also on the phone the whole entire time so I didn't even notice until we were like "uh okay. Well bye" If you are going to only take cash and don't have an atm at least put a sign on your door saying "cash only". Most people will see it, head over to an atm, and come back to buy something. If it was ten years ago it wouldn't be a thing, but I don't think I have had cash on me in at least two years.

We took our son to this store to browse and he found a new toy that he's been obsessed with ever since. The selection here is great. Not too many name brands but smaller brands with more variety it seems. It also keeps the price down on some of the items which is really great. The staff here has always been friendly and helpful.
