It's a bit odd doing laundry next to the 24th Street pizza place (since they're connected). And after 7 PM, you have to walk through the pizza place to get to the laundromat. Today we had the unfortunate bad experience at our local laundromat that we have been coming to…read moreconstantly for the last 2 years. So as my boyfriend start unloading our baskets from our car he walked in and the owner was in there walking around while her big Dalmatian was running throughout the place freely. My bf set his coffee on the designated table and the dog immediately went for it licking all in it!!! Then the dog kept barking here and there at him as well as another father and that guys little girl who was about 5-7yrs old. That dad and daughter ended up leaving due to her being scared. I left w my kids due to the pet dander and allergies, about 40 mins later and multiple calm attempts from my bf asking the owner if she could remove the dog he was scared of getting bit and didn't want the hair and dander in our laundry, she acted surprised he was having the issue and the other ppl. She did not remove the dog I came back up and we hurried up finished getting the things out of the machines and at this point she would not remove the dog she instead attached the dog to her while still walking around the whole store and by everyone and the clothes.(see pics) when I came in and started taking pictures and expressing my shock because she has been super nice the few interactions I myself have had w her and when my bf had spoke to her in the past(no dog ever then). She acted as if she doesn't care that she lost at least us as customers that spend a lot of money here at least every other wk. but just in case anyone is super allergic like my kids DO NOT COME HERE! Even if the dog mist there the dander and hair will stay and I grew up with large dogs so I know all too well. This is unfortunate when business owners don't care enough about the customers and I'm sadly finding this more often.

The last laundromat we used charged $1.25 per pound plus the cost of the machines, so I did it myself. Anyway, a decent value here. Clean place, prompt service. They texted me when the laundry was done. We are staying at Northpointe Shores RV Resort and I noticed a couple of other launderterias (term my husband likes to use, he's from New Orleans) between here and there, but I'm glad I selected this one.

We fit 5 hampers in two bigger ones for $11 for the washer. They also have different machines for the dryers as well, even giant commercial loads. This is great for those with bigger families. My mom got a new washer and within two days the belt snapped, so it will take a while for them to order it and fix it. Unfortunately, she had to bring them all here, but it is quick and easy. They even have a machine that gives you quarters if you have a 1, 5, 10, or 20 dollar bill. They also have a machine in the back for detergent if you run out, along with tables and snack machines while you wait. Each area has a table with carts as well if you want to carry clothes in from your car or out to your car.
