The owner, Meldona, is rude to customers and you'll learn quickly that she does not know how to run a business. Your dog is required to take 3 training courses, each at $125(?) and five classes long (at one class per week) with ~6 other dogs, before you're allowed to "join" and come use the facilities when you want. Even then, she has strict rules on what equipment you can and can't use, how things are maintained (understandable) and where things belong (also understandable). She will use any excuse to make you start a course over and charge you for it. If your dog gets slightly barky or does not appear to get along with the other dogs, she feels it's her right to correct your dog for you (usually a spray bottle... in our case, that scares the heck out of our dog and completely shuts him down). Our dog is not a breed she is not familiar with. He is extremely well trained and has multiple obedience (and other) certifications. He was also extremely good at every agility exercise. Our dog does as he's told but we always felt like Meldona either did not like him or us. Maybe it was Meldona's rough attitude or maybe she felt threatened by our dog's abilities. Regardless, we never felt welcomed. When COVID-19 hit and Meldona had to stop classes, we were 2 classes into our third 5-class course. She did not offer a refund, did not reschedule classes, and did not respond to our inquiries when new classes did start up. My advice: find a place where the owners/trainers care and are respectful to their customers. read more
