Let me start by saying that my review is based on my interaction with Justin and not any service needed. I called Action Pest Control first thing this morning to request someone to come investigate a critter noise I was hearing in my kitchen wall. I was certain it was not rodents and considered it may be termites or some other insect concern. No one answered so I left a brief voicemail. Shortly thereafter, Justin returned my call. I explained my concern and sent him a video to hear the sounds within the wall. He explained to me that the specific problem he suspected really wasn't much of a concern at all. He informed me that he could come investigate if I wanted but it may be a few weeks as his company is likely quite busy. I declined to have him stop by and began complimenting him on his exceptional business ethics. In this day and age, most consumers are cautious about service type work and feel that it's difficult to trust recommendations from businesses (usually because those recommendations include some kind of charge for a service you probably don't need). The fact that he didn't try to sell me anything and was honest was refreshing to say the least. If ever I do need any pest control services in the future, this company will certainly be my first choice! read more

I just wanted to say they were nice and everything but the first time they came out they were supposed to spray for outside pest like , spiders, ants, and earwigs they only sprayed around my and one other apartment and i live in an apartment with 6 units and then we had bed bugs and wanted us to spend 3 days, and 2 nights out of our home we couldn't afford it. We moved into older home that had been empty for quite some time. We discovered rats in the basement and attic. We called Action based on reviews and the service we received was excellent. Justin explained their process, timeline and fees (all reasonable). He sent Skyler to provide weekly and bi-weekly inspections until the population was eliminated by traps and entry points sealed up. Always professional and timely. Skyler explained everything each step of the way so we knew what to expect. He estimated the size of population we were dealing with and approximate time it would take to resolve. It took about a month with routine checks. All evidence of rat droppings and noises are gone. We hope we don't have a rat problem in the future but if needed Action Pest Control will be our first call. read more

We were out of town when the pet sitter informed us a bat got into our house. We had three area companies come out and look at our "termite problem" two gave us quotes and said we had termites, Justin with Action came out and disagreed. There was absolutely no evidence of termites and the solution was cheap and easy. He was fast, thorough and so knowledgable. Called Justin in April to have him come out and spray for ants, earwigs, spiders and any other creepy crawly things around my house. His first available appointment was June 1st. I figured he must be good to be booked out that far in advance. He arrived not only on time, but 15 minutes early. Which I appreciated. I walked him around the yard, garden, raised beds, sheds, walk paths and the house. Told him I wanted EVERYTHING sprayed and killed. He explained the product he used. Said it was safe for my dogs once the spray dried so we put the dogs inside for about an hour. Said it would cost $80 for treatment and that he wouldn't have to come back for at least 3 months. I thought that was very inexpensive and questioned the frequency. He assured me that's all that was necessary for my problem. So I asked him to put my business address on his schedule as well. Which he did 2 days later. Since June 1st I have had ants and spiders invading the inside of my house. Kitchen, panty, cupboards, both bathrooms, laundry room and my husbands closet. A week after he sprayed I went out around the perimeter of the house, garden, walk paths and there are ants everywhere. When I sent him payment for doing my business I included a note stating the problems I was having. He cashed the check and never responded to my concerns. Needless to say I will not be using him again. Unfortunate, because he seamed like a very nice guy. read more
