I have had a total of seven (yes seven!) knee surgeries, so I've had some experience with physical therapists. Action Potential is the BEST. My final two surgeries were total knee replacements and I chose Action Potential for PT after both. I can't say enough good things about Sarah. Professional, considerate, eased me through the pain. Even made it fun (kind of). Also, a great instructor when it came to walking me through my home exercise plan. After my first round. she had me skiing in months. Just finished PT after my second knee replacement and expect to be on the slopes with my grandchildren next winter. Can't forget Carol at the front desk. Walked in with tailbone pain that I had for over a year, and in about 2+ months I walked out WITHOUT tailbone pain. Admittingly, I was skeptical and unsure about the pelvic physical therapy, but the team was very patient and professional with me, and in doing so, I had a great experience and gained a lot of knowledge about pelvic health. I worked with Alicia, Megan and Kristin...they were all fantastic to work with...I think I gave them a little "run for their money" ;-). The rest of the staff that I met were also very nice, personable and professional. If you're ever having tailbone or any pelvic pain that doesn't go away, I would definitely recommend them!! I went to Action Potential because I had a bulging disk that was pressing on nerves and causing a lot of pain. I was skeptical that physical therapy would work and not optimistic that any improvement would happen. Kathy and Sarah were very caring and professional. They set out a plan with goals and let you as the patient be involved in the plan. After a few weeks the pain was only slightly better but I was encouraged to stick with the program that was laid out for me. After the third week my pain was gone! I am a true believer in these ladies and the work that they do. They also have friendly staff and a very clean facility. If I had to go to therapy again there is no other place I would go. read more

I feel very fortunate to have had Action Potential Physical Therapy provide PT after having both shoulders undergo rotator cuff surgery. I was so impressed with them after the first surgery, I went back to them after the second surgery. If it weren't for the Physical Therapist's Kathy, Kristen and Sara's persistence my husband would never be up and walking. (He is an amputee. )They offer one on one excellent care, they work with the person as a whole. Life styles are very important and they get you back to you life !! There is a warmth from the minute you walk into the door starting with Carol, till you have completed your therapy and are sad to leave.. I brought our daughter Christina, who suffered a severe brain injury as a result of an accident, to Action Potential. Kathy was creative, caring and inspired much hope for us. She saw possibilities for Christina's to do much more and helped to bring that out. Kristen and the entire staff were extremely welcoming and attentive to my needs. I received a personalized plan for my injury and one-on-one training at each visit. I could hardly walk when I started with Kristen after being twisted and pushed obviously incorrectly by an osteopath. Fortunately, I was referred to her by an orthopedic surgeon who thought I could try PT. Glad I did. With the exercises she helped me with and recommended I do at home, I was pain-free and walking again normally. I highly recommend the group ... especially if you are thinking you need surgery. I spent 3 months rehabbing at Action Potential. This facility isn't like others I've attended. You get personal, one on one attention. You don't share you time with other patients, the way some other facilities do. Sarah was my therapist. She spent time explaining all the exercises and how they applied to my situation.
