BEWARE: This business is poorly organized and will try to charge you for "damages" and then blame it all on their lack of organization and refuse to work with you. Absolutely horrible rental business in Waco. I was accused of damaging a rental item. This was THREE WEEKS after my wedding had taken place. The supposed "damage" was a small scratch that we are certain was there when it was rented to us. We remember observing it and thinking it might have been a piece of cake frosting. They claimed that this horrible scratch made it so that they couldn't rent it out anymore until it was repaired, even though it was rented to us in exactly that condition. Nobody noticed it because it was so insignificant, neither the employees nor us when we picked it up. When we first looked at the cake stand, they had all of their cake stands carelessly stacked together on top of each other. And they claim that they take "great pride" in taking care of their items. They said they attempted to contact me, but apparently they sent the communication through an incorrect email address, even though they had been communicating with me for the past two months through the correct email address. Despite this, they would not refund the cost of the supposed damages because "it's their policy" to automatically charge the client if they don't hear back within a certain amount of time. I kept trying to tell them that I did NOT damage the item, but they just kept saying "it's our policy." When I asked for records of when they attempted to contact me, they could not produce them. Their excuse was "we're a small business, we don't have that kind of technology." If you're going to charge a client for damages and claim that it's your policy to charge them if you don't hear back within a certain amount of time, you should be able to tell them exactly when the contact was supposedly made. Otherwise, there is no proof. On top of all of this, when my family attempted to return the supposedly damaged item after the wedding, they claimed that it wasn't theirs. It was only after checking with the other rental company that we had used and having them also say it wasn't theirs and then bringing it back again that they accepted it. When they did finally take it, they did not mention anything about damages and had it in their shop for TWO WEEKS before noticing the alleged damages and attempting to contact us. They claimed nobody else had rented it during that time (even though it is prime wedding season). Again they could not produce any kind of record of that. Also their prices are absolutely outrageous. We rented our linens from another company in Waco, and it saved us hundreds of dollars. Most of the things that they are renting we found at Hobby Lobby. The rental price is a rip off and does not save you a significant amount over just buying it. For all of your rental needs in Waco, I would highly recommend RSVP Rentals on Towne Oakes Dr. They were wonderful to work with. We were also able to BUY great quality linens from tableclothsfactory.com for much cheaper than we could have rented them for here. Avoid ARC at all costs! read more

I always assumed I knew what Action Rental provided and boy was I wrong! They are about so much more than tables and chairs! Jennifer coordinated a wedding for me. I had several meetings with her there at the store so I observed customers coming in to pick up on drop off items and I had the opportunity to watch her work. These guys make every customer feel like they are their most important client. I had a general idea of what I wanted and when I shared those ideas with Jennifer, she created an awesome venue. Their warehouse has a ton of décor to choose from in many different styles. I swear, if you can think it up....they will find a way to make it happen! I've worked with different rental places in my business and Action Rental is thus far the best I have used. Great customer service from the get-go. I do catering events and Eddie was very helpful in giving pointers on which tables or chairs to use also on all the different linens they carry. He also showed me a vast assortment of dishes they carry. It opened a bigger door for me in the catering business.
