This was about $80 I was overcharged. It is important to note that I am a young woman who came in by myself when dropping off the car and dealing with the phone calls. After I paid, I knew something weird was going on so I made my husband go back inside and ask about the alignment charge. I was immediately given a refund, only after I sent my husband in to correct the mistake. I have a feeling this was not an honest mistake and just the employee taking advantage of a young woman coming into a car shop alone. If it was an honest mistake, they need to be way more careful because this mistake cost them my business as I will never be back. If you are a young woman bringing your car here, I suggest going somewhere else, but if you have to, look over every individual charge before handing over your card. Extremely disappointing and discouraging experience and I will make everyone I know aware of this situation.

Update: WOW Mr. S you replied fast- #1: Just because you couldn't replicate the headlight issue, doesn't mean it's not a problem. #2- Nowhere did I mention her car being on a lift, so why are YOU denying it was when I never claimed it was?? #3- If you couldn't find the issue she brought it in for, WHY do all these recommendations and give her a whole list of things she "needed" to get done... she didn't ask you to!

I requested: Oil and filter change- not performed- not charged Front and rear differential oil change,- not performed and charged Transmission fluid and filter change- they told me they flushed the transmission added new fluid and a $40 additive I didn't request,the filter was not changed and the fluid appeared to be in the same condition when I dropped it off. I requested the transfer case oil to be changed, it was not performed and not charged for. I requested the cooling system be flushed and new anti freeze added. I asked if the anti freeze was new and they said yes, it was the same dirty condition before I arrived. They tried to sell me a water pump which is not leaking They told me I needed a power steering pump which is not leaking. After all this I was charged over $800. It's safe to say they lost a loyal customer.

I dropped off the vehicle today around 9AM and was greeted by Tom (the father), he explained appropriately how much it would cost and told me that they were down a few men due to COVID but, my car would be ready by the end of the day. At 11:15 Tom (the father) contacted me to tell my car was ready. I went to pickup my vehicle around 2PM and was greeted by Tom (the son) he explained what was done and also explained that there was pieces of the brake pad sticking to the brake disc. Tom said that this was something that may fix itself as the vehicle is driving or may need servicing in a he future. I was pleased with the service and the way both Tom's treated the customer.

From the moment she left, her car started making a strange noise that got worse every day. Almost two weeks later, she came to our house because the noise had become very loud. My husband is a retired mechanic, so he inspected the car. He discovered that one of the wheels had loose lug nuts. She drives on the Garden State Parkway every day to work at Short Hills Mall. This could have ended in a tragic accident. When she went back to the store to report the issue, the young woman at the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful. She asked to speak with the manager but was told there wasn't one in the building--the same response she had received over the phone the day before. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location. A mistake like this could put someone's life at risk, and it's even more disappointing when no one is willing to take responsibility or address the customer's concerns. Please always double-check your vehicle after any service. Your safety comes first.
