My car broke down outside of Yakima on a Sunday night. I called around and Action was the first place that could get a tow truck to me in a reasonable amount of time. I was quoted a reasonable amount, and later paid that exact amount. Rafael came to tow my car, and once it was loaded up, he helped me move all of my luggage into the tow truck, offered his advice on which shop to tow my car to, helped me drop off my key, and finally also offered me a ride to my nearby hotel. All in all, as awesome an experience you can have when your car breaks down on a highway on a Sunday night. read more

My son locked the keys in the truck and Shawn came to help us. Since the power lock system is not working he had to fish the keys from the ignition and pull them to the door frame and so I could reach in and work them through the opening. My work van broke down east of Yakima and they came to my rescue. Joe came out and loaded my Transit van and took it and me 167 miles to Tacoma, WA in the evening. He was the most pleasant, courteous and professional young man. He was kind enough to let me ride to Tacoma with him despite COVID 19, otherwise I would have been stranded a long way from home. Worst tow vendor I have ever dealt with. I work for a fleet management company with assets all over the United States. When calling for a heavy duty winch out approximately 30 miles away with point accurate location was told by the dispatcher that the highway in question wasn't in Yakima. I called back for someone to review what I was looking at on Google maps the same dispatcher hung up on me. I was able to locate alternate service but in my many years of arranging road service and tows all over the country I have never dealt with someone so reluctant to do their job. I absolutely can't thank Matt with Action Towing enough. He saved us from a very serious situation when no one else would even think about helping. The Jeep got stuck on the beach, over 250 feet off of the road. Most tow truck drivers won't leave the asphalt, but not Matt. He brought his all-wheel drive truck, from over an hour away, to pull us out of the mud. And then he got stuck as well! He had to winch his truck up to two different aspects to pull himself out. No one would of put themselves into the risky situation that we got stuck in. And then to top it all off, his fee was extremely reasonable. Mark Williams at Action Towing saved us not once, but twice! We called him on a Friday night at nearly 10pm - he not only answered the call but safely took our disabled boat/trailer into the Les Schwab in Selah. The following day we needed to have the boat and trailer moved again. Mark was still available and moved the boat and trailer to Valley Marine on a Saturday on his day off! Action Towing just SAVED us tonight. My daughter's car blew 2 tires in the Cascades up at a campground 40 miles west of Yakima. We have AAA and had called them. They said they should be there by 8pm. At 10:30pm my daughter called and hadn't seen nor heard from anyone as she sat in the parking lot of the Clear Lake day use park. My wife called AAA to ask what was up and they said they couldn't find anyone to come tow them to Yakima. They said the best they found was someone to come tomorrow morning. I got on the internet (from Seattle) and did quick research. Action Towing stood out quickly with 5 star reviews (having saved other folks from bad situations). I called them and got an immediate answer and better yet they said they could help. It was a long day for them, but instead of calling it a night they are going above and beyond by helping tow my daughter to safety. THANK YOU Action Towing.
