Action transportation is the worst it's like the dirt underneath the barrel You would never get picked up on time I've never had a transportation service ever not pick me up for the most important appointments of my life action sucks they're not considerate of other people's health They don't care they don't call you to let you know that on their way and the drivers are the worst They drive like they are driving a race car They play loud music like they are using their own personal cars The drivers use GPS and they still don't get to your house on time and when you call dispatcher she acts like she's concerned oh my God I'm going to see where your ride is at and what they do they switch you to another dispatcher instead of fixing the damn problem I do not ever recommend action transportation to anyone don't do it find another transportation to take you to your importance appointments action transportation does not care about no one else but themselves this has been my worst experience with these people I was outside since 8:30 a.m. waiting for them And they kept telling me the driver is coming The driver is near I called the fourth time That's when she tells me that they're running 10 minutes late with all their pickups why did you not communicate with your patience common sense then the driver that was supposed to pick me up canceled so they say and my pickup was given to another young lady who continuously kept lying telling me that she was on her way why lie if you can't make it just say that but don't lie and tell me you're down the block or you're turning the block or you're coming in 1 minute why lie people like these drivers and this company are not trustworthy they're horrible and that's sad because people need to get to their appointments on time where is the consideration so for people who have missed out on their appointments complain to MAS and get this service this business shut down this is unacceptable for everyone who has missed an important appointment to doctors to anywhere they had to go Don't ever use this action transportation they're horrible horrible people horrible drivers no respect for anyone's health. read more

This company uses an app called RoutingBox Mobile that allows them to get paid via MAS. When I first started (November 2024) the app worked fine. Then in late December 2024 the app started giving me fits (Logging out on it's own, not registering my rides, freezing up and the locationwasn'tregistering). I reached out to someone at the app by the name of Justin Rizzo and he attempted to give me a few tips on how to fix it. NONE OF HIS TIPS DID ANYTHING TO FIX THE ISSUE. So rather than Action Transportation call and try to get the app that all of their drivers need to effectively perform their job duties, today Sunday January 26th on my day off Action Transportation reached out to me to let me know that I would be fired because the app wasn't working for me and they didn't want to keep paying me for driving if their app wasn't going to work. No driver at this company should lose their job because of an app that fails to work. That's on RoutingBox Mobile and their engineers and technicians and Action Transportation. Where do I even start? This company is PATHETIC, SELFISH & GREEDY! The drivers are given impossible task doing everything that they are asked and then some only to be treated like garbage. They are absolutely not taken care of. They're basically paid minimum wage with the constant threat of fines at every turn for any and every microscopic mistake. Meanwhile the owner (Ray) and his well taken care of office staff's pockets continue to get fatter and fatter as Action Transportation recently welcomed a little over 100 new clients as other local medicab companies went under adding lucrative gains. The drivers? They don't see a dime of it as their work load increases and becomes harder with each passing day. They're the heartbeat of this company and they barely make ends meat seeing biweekly checks of a whopping $1,175. If you want to get overworked and underpaid then this company will be absolutely perfect for you. This is worst place I would not even consider any one to use this business! The office staff are rude to their workers and clients! They pick up people late for their appointments!! Whomever is part of their call center is absolutely HORRID!! I called for a patient that needed a ride back. Called back a few minutes later due to the patients concern as to whom was picking them up. She rudely states THE SAME PERSON then when I was about to state the patients concern she HUNG UP! If your main JOB is CUSTOMER SERVICE learn how to be polite. If not, go into a field that requires you to work ALONE! I would not have any one I know go here. Classless and rude! This company sucks. They don't ever pick you up on time, they SMUSH WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE IN 1 VEHICLE which I've had happen on multiple occasions (and by the way is ILLEGAL). They're dispatch and drivers are rude as hell and pick up people in Poughkeepsie just to have them sit in a cramped Van for over an hour so they can grab more clients as far as Hyde Park/Rhinebeck; it's absolutely ridiculous. Then they leave you once they drop you off at your destination and expect you and a group of others to just wait for them to return so they can cram in more pick-ups. The type of care is awful. They went to wrong address and gave my name and my address to someone while they where in their action transportation car. Now for the 3rd day in a row I am waiting for my ride not show. Called they said they don't see me yet MAS line shows my trips with Action transportation. So I read a lot of reviews and was afraid but I have to say, I was shcoked at the way it ran smooth. It was fairly simple in te process and the call times were quick, I asked about the status, they told me and it was done. My NEWBORN baby's appointment was at 10:20 it is now 10:28 I was supposed to been picked up at 9:30 mind you it's cold outside and I have my baby!!!
