Not only did they inform me by email, 3 days before my daughter's wedding that they were no longer in the charter bus business, offering no solution, they never refunded me my $800+ deposit! This had caused a lot of stress and aggravation between my daughter and I, worrying about getting 100 guest to the wedding venue, luckily we were able to scramble and get small party buses, sprinters, and a charter bus from out of town, you can only imagine the extra expenses it cost me! I waited a year in good faith for a refund, my next step is traveling upstate to court, another inconvenience and expense! I can't understand why I'm just not refunded my money! I needed a ride to the Catskills from Albany Airport. I work for an HBCU, and am a fervent believer in the Black Lives Matter movement. I searched for a Black owned company and found Tech Valley. It was a 1 person ride. On the way, the driver wasn't confident about where we were headed so she brought a passenger and located it perfectly. Unfortunate experience. We originally booked a 40-passenger bus from Tech Valley for our wedding. At first our experience was wonderful. Karen (the first representative we worked with) was informative with all the questions we had as well as attentive to our details. We paid in full and confirmed a timeline of our tentative schedule a week before our wedding. Four days before our wedding, they informed us in an email that the bus would no longer be available. Tech Valley tried to correct the issue, offering a 20-passenger bus (2 trips) at times that would require people to leave our ceremony early to make the trip. While this was a setback, we remained optimistic because we realize things do happen. After rescheduling multiple shuttles and resending new information to our out of state guests, the bus arrived at the venue 10 minutes after it was supposed to leave for the second trip (at the hotel). Guests reported that the fuel gauge was on E among several other things. Many guests took an uber since the bus was not at the location at the second pickup time. On the return trip, many passengers expressed an unsafe trip back, i.e., driving on the shoulder and crossing the double yellow line multiple times. Upon arriving to the hotel, we documented the bus's registration that was over a year and a half expired! I have called Tech Valley on three occasions since the wedding (1.5 weeks). They have stated that they will reach out with a resolution. I have yet received any type of response. I was also told over the phone that they will not provide any additional contact information. E-mails have gone without response as well. read more

Unfortunately, Tech Valley Shuttle was the worst experience for our wedding weekend. We paid for our guests to be shuttled back and forth from the hotel in Lake George to the venue two miles away in Lake George. Kern, our driver, seemed like he hated to be there. We asked if we could have the radio on since it's was a fun party atmosphere and he turned on talk radio quietly. He didn't say two words to anyone and was extremely unfriendly based on his expressions and lack of responding to passengers. Some guests who were pregnant wanted to leave one hour before the event officially ended and while we were paying for his service. He was sleeping in the drivers seat. They had to knock on the door to wake him up and they walked in and he stayed parked. They asked if he could drive them down the street to the hotel and he said "do you really think I'm only going to take you guys? " That's why we purchased your shuttle... just a disappointment for all passengers. We purchased the service until 11 we had 30 people so it would be two trips back and forth. Half of the wedding was waiting and the first group got back to the hotel at 10:05. He was arguing that he didn't have to go back to get the rest of the folks. Really? That literally makes no sense. I called tech valley the day before my event to request transportation for myself and nine teenage girls. I required a pick up at my home followed by drop offs to two separate locations and a return trip back to my home. In spite of the limited booking time between my request and the event they found a way to accommodate me. Each vehicle was clean and the drivers were friendly and courteous. They were also punctual which was a necessity. The price was cheaper than a van rental and the girls really loved the look of a "party bus" shuttling them to each location. They will be the first people I call should I ever require service of this kind in the future. read more

DO NOT BOOK with this company. They are a nightmare - we booked a wedding shuttle over a year in advance of our wedding. Three weeks before, they called me to say they didn't have a bus available. Completely ignoring their obligations under their own contract, they refused to work toward an alternate solution such as using other vehicles in their fleet to cover our event. I used tech valley to shuttle my wedding guests from their hotel to the venue and vice versa. I had talked to the company multiple times over a year period prior to the wedding. The people I talked to over the phone were not accommodating or friendly. I communicated the addresses of pick up and drop off multiple times and went over the times for pick up and drop off multiple times via phone and email. The day of the wedding the bus showed up with a completely wrong itinerary. I had to walk out to the bus, completely rewrite the pick up times and locations (I am the bride). The bus driver didn't speak very good English so it was very hard to communicate. Two hours later I got a call from the driver saying he didn't know where he was so I had to talk him through the hotel address (trying to get him to just type the address into maps). Made for a very stressful wedding day wondering if my guests would get to the ceremony. They did...but 20 mins late for the ceremony. read more

I booked Tech Valley Shuttle with Trent to provided round trip transportation from Troy N.Y to the airport in New Jersey. Let me start off by saying that this was the best decision I made to start off my vacation. The booking process was simple. From the time I left my house, my vacation started. Skip( the driver ) provided such good customer service. He arrived on time. Very personable, asked if we were comfortable, offer to get food for us while we waited in the shuttle. Absolute professional. The transportation vehicle was also comfortable and clean.
