It seems most reviews here are older, so things are likely to have changed in between then and now. I have certainly ordered from places where on a particular order I have gotten better prices, however, I get consistently good service here and attention to the particulars of any design that I submit. They have been helpful in choosing the right products and offering options to fit what I am looking for without pushing any particular items on me. The art folks check and double-check to make sure the design is right and that it looks the way I intended it to look. If something doesn't look the best, they will work to tweak the design so it presents in the best way possible. Recently, they did about a half dozen different stitch-out options of a design because we kept feeling like it could look better. They worked until it was right. Had an order for a couple of shirts for my son's football team to be picked up. the order was completed and when it was done they let me know. However when i went in to pick up Items there were maybe 3-4 employes in the main showroom or lobby area. One employee was helping a customer that was there prior to my arrival. The other employees never took the time to say, someone will be with you soon, or sorry for the wait. Instead they acted like i was a statue and ignored me. One woman in particular(heavy set with long graying hair) was the closet to me and I KNOW she saw me but did not extend out any sort of welcome or appreciation for my business. Now, once I began to receive help everything was all good, however just the overall vibe of the place was weird. read more

They were promoting selling masks during this trying time. My husband stopped in and they sold him 2 strips of T-Shirt material with 2 holes cut in the ends (I guess to tuck behind your ear) that were almost too small to cover your nose and mouth!!! Do yourself a favor and do not order anything from this "business". If they have something in stock, you will be fine inspecting it in person before you purchase. But if you order something, your child may be a larger size before it ever arrives. I just pulled my business from AWP and here is why. I'm new to Texas from San Diego and I own a fitness company. I had a sketched logo that I needed to be made along with shirts, bottles, towels, banners, you name it. We're talking about a lot of future work. I spoke to Megan when I went by and she was awesome. Very nice and professional. She priced me and gave me the 1 week timeline they needed. I paid half up front. On the due date for the proof I got no call or email. I called the day after to check on the work and was told the proof would be done in 3 days. I said "ok". The next day (today) I got a call from the owner. She was the total opposite of Megan. She was aggressive and sounded like she was upset. She said I was under priced for the work and jacked up the price. She didn't mention that her company wasted a week of my time and now two days after the deadline they didn't even have the proof close to done. She just apologized for the pricing and put the onus on her staff member. I had to stop her and ask to speak. We set an appointment to discuss the work but I plan on pulling the job and giving it to a graphic designer I met yesterday who is looking for work. AWP has a lot to learn about customer care and customer treatment. You can't call someone, berate them aggressively, up-sell them and expect to keep their business. read more

I placed an order for shorts for my child's marching band practice at the end of September that were never delivered. I sent an email asking for a refund on Monday, Nov. 12th, that was never responded to. So I called on Friday Nov. 16th wanting a refund and had to leave a message and threatened to leave poor reviews online. I received a return call saying that I would get my refund. Today is Monday Nov. 26th, still no refund and no other word on it. This store obviously doesn't value a customer that would potentially spend hundreds with them since my child will be in band for at least two more years. I'm going to encourage the band to choose a different company for next marching season. read more

I had taken a PomPom jersey in to be monogrammed on the front and screen printed on the back to use as the example for a big order we are about to do. While in the shop we discussed the monograming and exactly what I wanted. She pulled a chart out, I chose the one I wanted, paid and left the shirt with them. I was told to be looking for a proof on the screen print for the back of my shirt. I received the proof and signed off not aware that I was signing off on the monograming for the front as well since that had already been taken care of. When I went to pick up the shirt the back was fine, but the front monograming was wrong. Any initial monograming I have ever had done the last initial, always in the middle was larger. Scroll, block, or whatever. This was three letters all the same size across with the last in the middle. My issue is not the mistake made on the shirt but rather the response to the mistake. I was told that the girl who took my order no longer worked there because she messed up all the time. Never once did they offer to replace the shirt, fix it or even give my money back. The big order we were going to do we will not be doing with Action Wear Plus. I'm very disappointed. I did however find another embroidery shop who said they can fix what was messed up so the shirt is salvageable. I'm attaching a picture of what it was suppose to be and what I got. read more

They handled our team shirts and signs and various other things..took 2 months to get done..then when they made the wrong shirt I called and they were as rude as possible and basically it was not their fault but someone else's. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER...RUN from them. Not worth your money to support a business like that read more

Worst service ever. I walked in and no one spoke let alone asked me for what I needed help with. After about 4 minutes someone asked me what I needed help and still wasn't friendly, she proceeds with estimating my quote and goes to the back of the store and comes back with some scrawny lady to tell me that the screen print someone over the phone told me was okay was IMMORAL and they couldn't print it. So they basically wasted me time and I would never recommend this bs establishment to anyone! read more
