Push started vehicle and drove to Newport Halfords branch at 7.00 pm on a Friday. Vehicle was tested by the Halfords staff and they agreed the battery had failed. Not having the receipt with me, I was expecting to have to pay for a replacement and then have to fight to get refunded at by local branch on our holiday return. But no, the manager Jamie used manager's discretion and supplied a new replacement which is working perfectly now. Well done Halfords - most impressed with the customer service. But in my opinion, the best thing anyone taking their car in to Kwik Fit can do is drive straight past and hang a left to the Hampton Lane Garage.
