I went to Dr Schrumph based on a 5-star review. On my first visit, I was berated for going to a physical therapist for treatment rather than seeking a podiatrist. I do not remember an exam; I was informed that I had to buy a pair of (expensive) shoes from a list provided by Dr. Schrumph before I would be granted a second appointment. I was to wear those shoes to the appointment. I bought the shoes and was given a set of rigid plastic orthotics at the second appointment. My foot pain was unbearable when wearing the orthotics. During each visit, I felt that I was met with derision and hostility from Dr. Schrumph. His assistant and receptionist were polite and helpful, but seemed bullied. Finally I could bear the hostility any longer, and went to another podiatrist who did a thorough exam and Xray. He discovered that I had a heel spur undetected by Dr. Schrumph; I needed a completely different treatment. I regret wasting my time with Dr. Schrumph. If possible, I would give a minus score on stars. I would never recommend him. read more

Their adjustments are not aggressive and almost always provide relief quickly, so we feel comfortable taking our kids here as well. I also like that they empower their patients with spinal education.
