Word to the wise - opt for the tubes. The line for the raft ride took forever - 90 mins (longer than it took us to walk to that spot). They don't have enough guide staff, so the same guys who take the rafts downriver then have to load up the rafts at that end and get driven back to the starting point. I thought perhaps that was bc we went 8/21 and a lot of college kids are back in school, but another review from June here said same thing. The tubes don't need a guide so the line goes faster. You will get wet in those, not really in the raft although you can't avoid wet feet. Still, we really enjoyed the experience - it worked for our mix levels of adventure seeking kids. We did not opt to do the more adventurous course w/ clip lines, etc. Would definitely advise getting there first thing for all, bc sometimes there were people clipped to side of mountain trail, but having to wait to move forward b/c of people in front of them. I don't think I'd like to have to keep my feet on a small jutting rocks while waiting to move. Also for those who have difficulty with knees/stairs or need flat surfaces even the walking path can be challenging.

There were options to get the floaty's with a head rest, and a cooler for all your snacks while traveling down the river. Please keep in mind that cost extra. I highly recommend getting the tube with a backrest/headrest so that you have back support during your tubing experience. It makes a huge difference with comfort and it only cost an extra $7. Erin was a very good bus driver she made the ride pleasant and safe!!! Lauren was a great instructor and leader during the experience. She also was very friendly to speak with. I needed water shoes, so it was great that I can buy water shoes on the premises and they were able to charge the card I used to make the online reservations which is convenient because I didn't bring my wallet. There is bathrooms and changing rooms on site.

Even with the low water level there were still some swimming holes along the way. I would say water shoes of some sort are a must for this. Also we grabbed some large sticks at the beginning which helped us push off rocks and away from some of the shallow sections. Was very beautiful and relatively inexpensive for a day of fun. It took us about 3.5 hours and we didn't stop. But there are definitely spots along the river to stop and eat a packed lunch if you bring one.

Called this year and were advised it has changed ownership. The new owner Jack needed to call us back to discuss the trip. We have now called numerous times and sent multiple emails in addition to reaching out of Facebook. Just this morning, we called again to be advised by a person that "jack" has to call us back. She advised she told reminded Jack numerous times.... Sad, as this was a real gem.

For 15 miles our raft of 7 plus Russ did a great job of guiding our boat through the rapids safely. Seriously, Adirondac does an excellent job and for $90/person it s a steal of a deal! We met at 9am, on the water by about 10am, lunch is provided, and you get off tbe water by about 3pm. They even stop at a big rock in the middle of the river that you can jump off of for no additional cost! If you are new to waterskiing or wakeboarding, this will be the best thing you do! The lessons are on Loon Lake, which is a beautiful small lake about 20 minutes drive from Lake George. You don't have all the powerboat traffic of Lake George and it's a great place to learn. Craig is the best! He met us at the marina in a beautiful boat with all the gear ready, was so personable, and was a great teacher. We had never waterskiied and my husband and son were up and skiing in short order. I am not as sporty, but Craig was very encouraging and helpful. Highly recommended! This was one of the most fun things we did on the water.

There is a small parking lot, dogs have to be leashed, and carry out what you bring in.

Took us around 2hrs round trip and the steep incline really got the blood pumping. If you reach the top you are rewarded with a 360 degree view of the surrounding area. I highly recommend!
