When I finally got to meet her, no eye contact. Dr.Hwhang, was brisk and distant, I didn't feel seen or heard. immediately spoke about prescribing methadone, and other sedative medications, She seemed not to understand that my goal is to be alert and able to drive. She then prescribed seven day supply of the sedative medication, I was informed that refills were dependent on virtual "pain-level check in " which would occur either Monday or Friday, between the hours of 8-5. I informed my referring PC that I did not want to continue with that agency and would seek another agency and for . I also informed the office staff who I would give a five star rating to. The confirmation email I received listed only the appointment time, address, and parking information -- it contained no mention of any consultation fee. On the day of the visit I was charged $750. When I questioned the amount, I was told that was the correct fee based on our prior conversation. I left the experience feeling the consultation fee had not been clearly or accurately disclosed in advance. The office itself also raised concerns. There was no secretary or front-desk staff, and the space is shared with a beauty salon, chiropractic office, and other services. All communication was handled directly by the doctor. The lack of transparent pricing has left me with no choice but to file a claim in small claims court to resolve the matter.
