These people work miracles. They have replaced traditional medicine in my life when it comes to managing pain.

Cue Pain Away. This place was a wild 30 minute ride. I went in for neck pain after a colleague at the gym recommended it. I walked in and the only words exchanged were "how long?" "30 minutes" I reply. A woman spawned from nowhere and guided me to a room where she signaled to get undressed. I did so, laid down, and the massage begun. This woman came back in and I was tense for the next 30 minutes. She put her whole backbone into this massage. I was in a constant state of pain, letting out squeals here and there. Nevertheless, she persisted. At the end of the 30 minutes, she stopped as abruptly as she started. Sweet relief. I walked out to pay and she handed me water. It was nice. I waited until the next day to write this review because my neck truly does feel a LOT better. So, Pain Away did its job, and I would certainly come back!

Dr. Liu is a very decent and professional doctor who has been working in this field for 20+ years, about 12 of which was spent in China where the authentic acupuncture treatment rooted in. He is very knowledgeable about the right treatment in acupuncture. The first time I took the treatment there for a shoulder pain, he gave me acupuncture followed by sucking cups. When I left the office, my shoulder feels like a new one! So I started continuous treatment there since then. I later learned that his acupuncture does not just cure pain, but also help with sleeping difficulties, even pollen allergy! I slept better when he gave me a few needles treatment on my head! This is really amazing acupuncture office. He is very busy and I feel lucky that I can find a Chinese doctor who really understand what a real acupuncture is. His office is very quiet and comfortable and clean. All in all I highly recommend it. If you go there you might want to try the massage/Tuina treatment which works too.

I've had a lot of massages in the past couple years too, so I had to check it out. I called and asked what time they closed and the man said 8pm. I asked if we could get a couples massage tonight. And he said yes, what time? I asked for 730 because I still needed to have dinner. He had no problem scheduling us for an hour, even though he told me they closed at 8. When we walked in, we were greeted by Kim and Jin. They asked if we had called about the massages and we said yes. Then Kim lead us to the cutest room with two tables, a sheet hung from the ceiling that divided the room in half, exposed brick, and very nice lighting. Right from the beginning when I first laid down, I was relaxed. The table was heated and super comfy. Kim and Jin knocked and came in. Then, I had the best massage of my life. He worked on my knots, stretched my hips, and did a number on my butt. People always underestimate the need for a good butt massage. An hour later, we looked at each other with epic euphoric looks on our faces and a strong reluctance to get off the table. I told my boyfriend that I live here now and he understood. Kim gave us a bottle of water and a $10 off coupon. It was perfection. He was so nice and genuine. He has magic hands. I love him. We will be back!!

There was also a mildew smell when I walked in and the massage table looked like it was covered with a disposable sheet. I felt itchy afterwards and had to shower immediately. After walking out, the lady started to demand a tip that was 50% and in the past I only leave tip based on the services provided and if I had a good experience. I did not feel like this was worth the money at all, so I wasn't going to pay even more to this place and I did not tip. It looks like a good deal but is a scam. It felt like a kid was giving me a massage and texting with the other hand. Save your money!!!!!

BEWARE of Precious Stone Chinese Qi Gong Tui-na Body Work Health Center, 535 6th Ave, Pk Slope…read more Last Sunday I had the most disturbing and stressful massage of my life at Qi Gong. From the very beginning of the message, I felt uncomfortable with the masseur (I never got his name). He: * leaned his body against mine way too much, forcing me to slide over to the other side of the massage table to avoid him. He either did not understand what I told him in English, or he feigned not understanding. * completely removed the towel covering my butt, and although I replaced it twice, he removed it twice more. * slide his hand across my privates. At that point, I stopped him and warned him to be careful, and to keep his hand away from my privates, and he said, "ok." A few minutes later, he repeated this on my other leg. I then stopped the massage, told him to leave, and went to the front desk to report him. I told the receptionist that they were both lucky I didn't call the sex crimes unit to report a sexual assault. The receptionist defended the masseur, saying there had never been a complaint against him. Later that day I reported the incident to the 78th Precinct, and Officer McCarthy filed a "forcible touching" complaint. UPDATE: The manager, Amy, later texted me and offered me a $100 bribe to take down this review. I refused. Has anyone else suffered inappropriate behavior/sexual assault by the masseuses and masseurs at Qi Gong? If so, please report these on their Yelp page to warn other potential customers. I've also posted this 3 times but Yelp seems to be removing the review. I changed the word to "privates" in hopes that this won't flag the review. 6 days ago · 12
