You get asked a few questions about your energy and what you want to focus on and then for acupuncture, they'll check your energy levels. After inserting the needles in, they leave you to it. No music or meditation or chants. Just you, and the car horns outside. I think that's where I'm a little disappointed. Other places I've been either give you one of the two and check in on you. I was just sorta left for I'm assuming was 30 minutes? There's no clocks so I lost track of time. Next few times I came, I was prepared to do some meditation on my own and really focus on my thoughts, breathing and healing. I have pretty decent insurance and so it only came out to about 20 bucks per session and at that price, it goes from a 3 star review to a 4 star. But without that, I could easily rate this a 3 star place. I'll be coming back for sure though. Every where else seems to have a wait list or they aren't as nice. Everyone is super nice. You wont find anyone not happy to be there.

My husband and I are going through IVF and I went to Dr. Lee for support for fertility while we start our first transfer. She walks you through what she is doing and explains each of her findings. When she found a tough spot, she let me feel it too so I could better understand what she was talking about. She explained which system corresponded to each area we worked on. The AcuSuccess office is so relaxing. The lighting isn't too bright and there was quiet instrumental music playing. Dr. Lee and her assistant were both so so nice and welcoming. I also really liked how clean everything was. All the needles are packaged, she swabbed each spot and opened a new needle package for each stick. Finally, I am actually pretty squeamish about needles and I barely felt the pokes. Overall, 10/10! This was a wonderful first experience of acupuncture. I'm recommending Dr. Lee to anyone interested in acupuncture and/or healthcare that considers the whole person.

As a massage therapist myself over several years, I have a considerable amount of experience receiving massage (good and bad of course, and I take serious consideration as to whom I choose to massage me). When I received a massage from Paul, it was out of this world! I am truly grateful to him for all his expertise, incredible focus and intuition. Paul has taught me so much from just one massage, I am inspired to specialise in the same way - his style is multifaceted and unique. He is a rare individual, a natural massage therapist and he clearly loves his trade. Paul's work is a labour of love, and one only needs to put their trust in him to experience such intense nurture and healing. He works into and releases muscle attachments. His work is very strong (worth being aware of this) and flowing so I would recommend his technique to people who enjoy/wish to experience firm and flowing massage. There is a Thai massage style to his work, so expect to be moved into yogic positions unless specified. He is a creative and doesn't appear to follow a sequence, while working closely with the breath. Paul's massage on me was soothing in the same way that it was strong. It was deeply relaxing and rejuvenating for me. If you choose to book a massage with Paul, rest assured that you will be his sole focus and trust that all is well, you are safe in his capable hands. I've gone to her with a knee injury and at another time a shoulder injury and both treatments were very healing and soon after my pain was gone. Don't bother going to a western doc for pain pills - just go to Jessica so she can get to the root of your discomfort, literally! and release tension and pain from your body instead of just covering it up.
