Paul is an amazing massage therapist. Paul was visiting Bristol in the UK where I live and I was fortunate enough to receive a massage from him. As a massage therapist myself over several years, I have a considerable amount of experience receiving massage (good and bad of course, and I take serious consideration as to whom I choose to massage me). When I received a massage from Paul, it was out of this world! I am truly grateful to him for all his expertise, incredible focus and intuition. Paul has taught me so much from just one massage, I am inspired to specialise in the same way - his style is multifaceted and unique. He is a rare individual, a natural massage therapist and he clearly loves his trade. Paul's work is a labour of love, and one only needs to put their trust in him to experience such intense nurture and healing. He works into and releases muscle attachments. His work is very strong (worth being aware of this) and flowing so I would recommend his technique to people who enjoy/wish to experience firm and flowing massage. There is a Thai massage style to his work, so expect to be moved into yogic positions unless specified. He is a creative and doesn't appear to follow a sequence, while working closely with the breath. Paul's massage on me was soothing in the same way that it was strong. It was deeply relaxing and rejuvenating for me. If you choose to book a massage with Paul, rest assured that you will be his sole focus and trust that all is well, you are safe in his capable hands. If I could give Paul more then 5 stars I would as his work and care is outstanding. I myself am a massage therapist 10 + years and trust me when I say I have been to a number of different massage therapists/spas trying different massages and therapists. Paul is one of THE best I've experienced I don't say that lightly and I'm lucky to have people like Paul around who I can trust and know that their treatments are amazing and help me and my work. It helps me to be better in my work, my job and makes me more aware of myself, my clients and helps me flow better and elevate myself, my work/job. Paul is so Free and flowy with his massages and I was so relaxed and felt floaty after his massage I slept so well as well which can at times be difficult for me. Paul has been working on me on a regular basis for over 11 years. I've literally had at least 200 massages by paul and he just keeps getting better and better. I've had 5 major back surgeries and they all have failed! So I suffer with chronic daily pain. Because Paul works on me on a regular basis he has managed to help me control my chronic pain. I've been going to Paul for several years now, aside from when COVID hit. He does a combination of therapeutic and deep tissue massage in our 90 minute sessions. Seemingly, no 2 sessions are alike as Paul works very intuitively and pinpoints what my body needs. He especially has helped me gain back mobility in one shoulder which was impinged due to over usage and cartilage breakdown. I had a sports therapeutic massage and was quite impressed, as I am a tall fit muscular athlete, with lots of miles on my body from road cycling. Paul was particular in targeting key muscles during a 90min treatment and made it possible for me to recover well after days of riding and training for marathon and triathlon events. Another key feature is that he is so knowledgeable that eh can talk you thru the muscle groups and point out also what stretches you could do to improve your movements when at home doing stetching &/or yoga to assist your performance and recovery. read more

Paul is one of the best massage therapist I've had. I was in San Diego over the Fourth of July holiday and messaged Paul for an appointment. Although he wasn't planning on working the holiday weekend, he was kind enough to make an exception for me. I'm grateful he took me. His intuitive massage is unlike the many spa massages I've had that felt mechanical and routine. Paul has healing hands and is a caring person. His strong and gentle strokes ebbed and flowed like the pacific and was very hypotonic. The beaches and the weather are not the only reason to come to San Diego, Paul's massage is the third in the trifecta. Looking forward to my next session with him. I just had a quick 10 minute sampler massage with Paul and it was actually superior to some 60 minute massages that I've had at various parlors. He quickly zeroed in on problem areas and had me breathe through specific points which was so helpful (as breathing is essential to healing). I look forward to requesting a full massage with Paul in the near future and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a therapeutic massage more aligned with actual healing. read more

It's all relative but I didn't find my session to be the best. As someone who handles massages at home, I would recommend paying for ad free Pandora at home. The commercials killed the ambiance. Paul tends to get very up close and personal with your body. This is a heads up in case something like this makes you uncomfortable, simply state. Undoubtedly the best massage Ive ever had! As an athlete, Ive had many massages. I decided to use Paul at the recommendation of a trainer at my health club. He is truly gifted and passionate at his craft. He stretched me while applying pressure and worked my muscles in a way I did not know existed. I was so relaxed afterwards that I could barely move. Paul is very familiar with the anatomy of the body and it shows through his work. Whatever you are looking for out of a massage Paul can deliver whether it be injury or just pure relaxation. I just had the luxury of a session with Paul today, and wow. He really has his own technique, it is very therapeutic and thorough. There was a lot of work on places that are often overlooked: abdomen, hip flexors, coccyx. If you are conservative or don't want certain areas covered, you'll probably want to give him a heads up before the session, otherwise, plan on getting some relief to all parts that can legally be massaged. :) His approach showed his unique way of relating to the body. Sometimes I wasn't really sure what was happening...two hands would be working different parts with different sensations and it's hard to keep track of what is going on. It was fun, but seriously therapeutic. I've had chronic shoulder tension for years but I never bother to have it worked on because nothing creates a change. Well I can say right now, there is a significant and palpable change. If you want to try something really different and have the experience of an intuitive customized massage that won't leave you wondering if you have your therapists full attention, go see Paul! read more
