It was great so relaxing and worked out the knots. He was so nice to talk to a bit too. He let me pick the focus on my legs at the end and had a frim kneeding touch. Totally recommend him. He makes his own massage oil or balm and it is full of amazing things including arnica. Debbie gave me a great brightening facial( I have hyperpigmentation) and extractlons.Also treated my neck shoulders and decolage. So soothing and relaxing I fell asleep,lol. My wife was offered a cervix (vaginal) massage and buccal (inside the mouth) massage, her first time using a male Masseuse at Zen Sanctuary. My wife had been seeing the owner Leah multiple times with good results, our family attended multiple events and bought multiple gift certificates. 5 stars until. While Leah was injured my wife scheduled for a neck pinch/pain, Leah recommended Kyle Winnie. I have personally been seen by Kyle and I understand he likes to have a whole body approach and focuses alot on the hips. But this is where it all goes REALLY SIDEWAYS. Kyle asks about my wife's birthing experience (13 years ago), and while massaging her hips and buttocks talks about his wifes birthing experience, how he gave her cervix (vaginal) massages, culminating in "intense orgasms". He goes on about cervix messages, buccal messages (inner mouth messages) services he says he offers that were un-solicited, un-advertised, and per my research unethical. To do this with his hands on a small, mostly naked woman seems insane to me, and has my wife has a history of experiences with SA, she was beyond triggered and in self-preservation mode (don't anger your assailant). Upon contacting Leah about this experience, she was apologetic for the negative experience, but made excuses for her friend/employee, "Kyle was very understanding and also feels terrible that you had anything other than a healing experience. He recognized how he was received and it was not his intention. From his perspective he was asking questions about your birthing experience to try and understand if it was a contributing factor to your low back discomfort. I trust our conversation will ensure that he takes much greater care, sensitivity and professionalism in his sessions moving forward. " We asked for refunds for the gift cards on the account (5) and 4 were refunded, Zen stated they could not find a way to refund the last gift card because it was paid for by someone else, they couldn't apparently refund one of the last 5 appointments. They were short and couldn't explain anything, and they would not answer if they offer Vaginal or Oral Massage as a part of their practice... and frankly... I get why. The owner's seem like they haven't experienced sexual objectification and are far from trauma informed. Despite the crunchy hippy vibes of this place, it seems like the type of environment perfect for a Sexual deviant to hide behind ignorant owners and a holistic excuse. I was able to rebook a session with Maren, after careful planning from David the owner. Because I believe in second or even third chances we went for what worked best on the schedule. The intro was delightful and comfortable as we lead into the session design. This time around all was covered as wished and it went very smoothly. I'm definitely going to rebook with Maren again for a longer session in the very near future. Her style is very smooth and slow with, direct and tolerable pressure. Doesn't over use lotion, so you don't feel super slippery afterwards. She has a great flow to her session design movements and checks on you just enough to let you relax but, be present with her work. I slept like a champ and recognized that a stiff spot, in my upper glute and lower back area, is no more. I woke up a new man so to speak. Jaime is by far the best holistic health provider I've had. Her voice sounds like an angel, so calm and soothing. It made me more relaxed. I got the Budharom massage and it was definitely a treat. I usually have tensed shoulders and every time I get a massage, my shoulders become more tensed and I don't feel relaxed at all. With Jaime, she found the right pressure for my shoulders. I sought out acupuncture with Rayna to help me through the grieving process of losing my dog of 17 years. My original appointment was canceled 18 hours before i was scheduled to come in. I took a day off work and missed out on a whole day of pay. I then rescheduled and took another day off. Long story short, I ended up not making that appointment because I ended up in the hospital for two weeks. I messaged Rayna while I was on my way to the hospital barely aware of my surroundings. When I was released and got home focusing on recovery I open my cc statement that showed i was charged for the session two weeks after the session. She didn't check in with me after I told her I was sick and couldn't make it. She didn't give me a heads up on the charge or have any communication with me to reschedule. All she cared about was the money. I lost a days worth of pay for being flexible when she had to cancel on top of the $210 she charged me for being gravely Ill and having to cancel. Not to mention the dr bills I have now. When I reached out after seeing the charge she didn't even respond. For a so called spiritual establishment the empathy is greatly lacking. I was getting reflexology done here on top of some facial work but I will not be bringing any of business to zen sanctuary anymore after this. I recommend Healcove if you need a massage/body work/acupuncture they are amazing. I missed an appointment with them cuz I was in the hospital and they didn't charge me and even sent me a get well card.
