I first reached out to Mr. Vargas on October 20, 2018 to give us a quote for a large Deck. We was very happy with the price but we still decided to get another Quote which was 5,000 MORE than what Mr. Vargas gave us. At that point I called Mr. Vargas on Thursday November 1, 2018 and ask can we hire him BUT we need the deck by Saturday November 3, 2018. Not only did We get our Deck totally completed by Saturday the price was Excellent and his crew was wonderful. We had a party that night and the deck was the focus of conversation. DO NOT USE!! My fence has been falling into my neighbor's yard since I moved in. I didn't hire AD (previous owners did). Raphael came out once to fix it only to have it start falling again. I now have rope anchors holding it up. I have reached out to him four times to come out and fix this. I'm even willing to pay for it even though it's his shotty work that is causing this to happen. These guys never disappoint! Rapheal and his crew is always on time and does the job quick and efficiently! I used them 7 yrs ago for a deck and fence and had them come back the other day to expand my deck and add additional stairs on the other side! They completed the job within 4 hrs! If you are considering using AD Fence, I would highly suggest that you reconsider. To be honest, you would probably be better off picking up some random people from the Home Depot parking lot. Rafael is one of the most dishonest grimiest individuals, that I have ever come across in my life. The guy will tell you any and everything to get your money. Him and his "crew" lack attention to detail, professionalism, accountability, and integrity overall. I don't know what "inspired" this guy to start a fence company, but he needs to seriously reconsider his purpose in life because it sure as heck ain't building fences/decks. A few associates and myself have fences built by this guy and they are literally falling apart. I have seen better work done by crack heads. Please stay away! This is my first time ever posting a review of any sort. I deemed it necessary to share my experience with the hope that someone will benefit from it. I recently moved to a new house that needs a privacy fence. I came across a neighbor's fence with an AD Fence decal on it. I decided to contact them to schedule an appointment. Rafael showed up and did an assessment. He gave me a quote and promised to handle the HOA application. He asked for a deposit and the balance after completion of the project. I sent him a zelle of $700. After 6 weeks, I contacted him for an update only to find out that he had never submitted anything to the HOA. I was so furious that I demanded a refund for my deposit. He promised to send it. It has been a month since I asked for my deposit, and he has yet to send it. He stopped picking up my calls. So I have decided to take the matter to court. My advice to any potential customers is to not do business with Rafael. read more

I texted Rafael to get a quote for my yard. He responded and said he'd show up in 45 mins. The day goes by and he doesn't show up or offer any kind of explanation or response. I text and call him again the following week to see if he could come out and once again I didn't receive a response. Obviously they do not need my money. I'd give ZERO stars if it was possible. I scheduled an assessment for a privacy fence to get a quote with Raphael. They scheduled the meeting, TOOK MY ADDRESS and then left me on read when I text him 15 mins prior to confirm, did not answer the phone after 3 calls and did not text back. You wasted my time, took my address (God knows what you could do with that- I don't trust people that operate under the guise of a business, take your address and never follow up) and now have left me in position to warn others about this unprofessional, time wasting, information taking company! This feels like a scam but at the very least this is a piss poor business with piss poor service. read more

The worst Fencing company in Charlotte. My fence is falling down. Granted it's a few years old but if the craftsmanship was done correctly, the fence would NOT be lifting and falling out the ground. I called Rafael and he gave me his word he would come by. He never showed and blocked my phone number. I've had to call him from other phone numbers just to get a response and he gives me the run around. Promises he'll be at my house at a certain time and never shows up! I can't get a return call! I was told by them they work with the hoa and they do all the approval well that was lie #1 they never sent anything to hoa and He had the only copy of paperwork 3 time he said he would bring it by but never showed up.I think they will tell you anything to get paid.......I wouldn't trust them read more

Very happy with Raphael and his team. They were affordable and very efficient. They got my fence up in 4 hours, I have a small yard but a project like that would have taken me 4 days (4 weeks if you ask my wife) and not have looked as good. Even when my HOA threw a curve ball at us they adjusted and made it look great. I appreciated Raphael's service. Every time I call him he answered the phone or called me back right away. Lies! Takes your survey and claims he will write everything up for your HOA since he deals with them all the time and get your fence approval. Come to find out months later the HOA never spoke to this guy and he has a bad rep for telling similar lies! Now I'm having to work with my HOA and neighbor to resolve the issue of never being approved. Owner of this fence company has since stopped answering my phone calls and he will be facing a small claim law suit if more money has to go into this fence.
