But the reason for the one-star review was for his lack of responsibility for the damage he caused that he refused to acknowledge and take responsibility for. He required 50% down before he even started the work, and then he sent me two emails and a text within 24 hours after the completion of the job for the remaining balance before I was even able to respond. I paid the bill right away. But when I called him later about an issue that was clearly caused by his work, he was very quick to deny responsibility. He did not even want to come over to investigate the issue nor did he want me to send him the photos and video I offered to send. He was already paid in full, so he was not interested in any issues he may have caused. Because of his lack of integrity, I would not use him again nor would I recommend him to anyone.

Mark met with me within a couple of days to survey my property and gave me his expert opinions and recommendations. He offered so much more than I had envisioned and gave me several options to chose from. I chose the option to have my front and side yard fully covered with sod. I also had a driveway drainage issue when it rained, causing water to pool in my driveway up to several days. I was so impressed with Mark's patience in answering my questions and thoroughly explaining the steps on how the sod project would be completed, I had him include the estimate for a french drain to be installed as well. I accepted the offer and Mark provided timely communications and updates before the project began. On the day of the project, Mark and his crew were extremely organized and work very well together. The old grass was removed and the clay soil was prepped and leveled. The 100 ft french drain was installed during the yard preparation. The top soil was applied and leveled. The sod arrived on time and installation began on the morning of its arrival. Mark and his crew had all the sod laid quickly. The team was very friendly and respectful of my property. One of the crew members found an expensive drill and gave it to me so I could return it to the Spectrum technician who left it when he was moving the cable lines. I worked from home and I was not disturbed by the work going on outside from the crew. All the work was completed in two days. Now I have an HOA friendly yard! We had Eric as their service professional who after spending an hour in the garage concluded the new power plug we bought at Lowe's was faulty, therefore he reinstalled the old one. He managed to install the kitchen sink faucet but after he left we noticed it was leaking slowly under the sink and the faucet water flow was reduced to about half. We called the company who argued with us about everything and still charged us the full $363 as if everything was done perfectly! My husband was later able to figure out how to install the new power plug by just watching a few youtube videos and of course the new power plug worked great showing that Eric in fact had no clue about how to install it. Youtube could help you too Eric, as the company does not seem to invest at all in your training! We also had to hire another company to come fix the kitchen sink leakage from the faulty installation of the new faucet. In the end a manager with Mr. Handyman of Mooresville cancelled our invoiced charge - one reasonable thing they did, but it was truly stressful and disappointing to work with them! We do not recommend them.
