After advising him of such, we get a request to meet and being told, he could no longer do the job due to a worker injury. While it may be the case, it just seemed TOO coincidental that this happens immediately upon my sending a text advising of the permitting. SOOO I guess the lesson learned from this case is if even licensed contractors express hesitations or push back about permitting.. STAY AWAY from them. He was the only one that would place the footings on our paver patio. all other companies wanted to place the footings on the grass next to the patio. once the permit was approved, there was an added requirement of placing fire sprinklers on the patio cover! jeff worked with the city and a fire inspector to remove this nonsensical requirement which saved time and money. when it came time to place the footings, the pavers were removed carefully and set aside. once the footings were in place, you couldn't even tell they were removed. he and his helper also left our yard tidy and organized at the end of each day. overall, we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. jeff was meticulous, reliable, and a true professional. highly recommend!
