We had 2 houses built by Adair homes. The first one was built in the middle of the construction rush, they were in a hurry, wall studs were nailed by single nail, and you could spin them around. They told that sheetrock will hold it in place! I had to get inspector to make them do the job right. BUT! That house got burned down, inspection named the probable cause to be electrical short, and as everybody knows they use the lightest wire allowed by a code. But it was not enough evidence to prove it. SO my insurance forced me into rebuilding the house with Adair, because they are cheapest on the market, though I had multiple concerns. So they rebuilt it, and told me that in year they will come to fix cracks in drywall as house settles. When house was a year old, I gave them a call, they never showed up. I tried again and again, then it appeared that it should been done before the year was up, so I was stuck fixing all cracks. Then my microwave got broken and I decided to replace it, when I took it down, the vent fell right down! It was not even fastened. The whole time my kitchen fan was blowing greasy air right into my attic! Adair administration said they can do nothing about it, they can help if something happens! They told it to me 2,5 years after my house fire! They did not repair it, and I got stuck with repairs again by myself. The house is 3 years old, and I don't know what other problems I might have. Do not go Adair - it's cheap, fast-slopped homes, they do not back their warranty, and they are not build safe. read more
