It cost a bit more but I am not currently driving so it was worth it. The clothes came back perfectly folded and smelled amazing. They even washed my uggs! Yes, my favorite uggs that were disgustingly gross. They didnt dry them because I asked them not to. By far the best wash & fold place I've used.

My 4-Star Review for WaveMax Laundry I have been coming to…read morethis WaveMax Laundry location off Cobb Parkway near the Big Chicken almost every week on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at midday for months now. While the facility is clean and the staff is wonderful, I am giving this a 4-star review instead of a 5-star because of a frustrating issue with the dryer timers. Whenever you open a dryer door to pull a few items out early, the timer keeps ticking down. You end up losing precious minutes that you paid for while the machine is paused. I have mentioned this before, and I really hope the owner can find a way to remedy this so the timer pauses when the door is opened. Aside from that issue, the facility itself is great. It is about two years old, filled with excellent new machines, and kept incredibly clean. I also appreciate that when the owner adjusted the dryers to 10 cents a quarter, he lowered the washing machine prices from $5.75 down to $5.00. Another big plus is the late hours, with the last wash at 8:00 PM and closing at 10:00PM The absolute best part of this laundromat is the staff. There are three ladies who work here, including Elena, who opens in the morning. They are the heartbeat of this business and work incredibly hard. Recently, the owner seems to have secured a new hotel contract because flatbeds and trucks have been arriving loaded down with massive trailers of dirty laundry. Even though their workload has easily tripled, these three women don't skip a beat. They keep the place spotless--constantly wiping down the machines inside and out, cleaning the dryers, and keeping the floors immaculate--all while being warm and friendly to everyday customers. Because the laundromat is open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, these ladies are putting in long, demanding days, with Elena often working past her shift to handle the commercial laundry. I truly hope the owner recognizes their dedication under this heavy new workload and rewards them with a well-deserved raise. They treat this business like it is their own and deserve to be financially appreciated!

I went for my first time doing laundry in years, and I…read moreneeded help figuring out the capacity of the machines (they're not complicated- but they have 2 sizes of washers ($3, & $6) their prices are really reasonable. Their dryers work really well. I could have put all my clothes into one dryer I think- but using 2 for the minimum 20 minutes got my clothes really dry and no need to add more minutes. The managers came in whilst I was there and they were so helpful and nice! I had a few questions since it had been a while since I've used coin laundry- super great customer service at this location. When I was there, there was a seemingly disgruntled woman (& to her defense- it was 93 degrees by 11am, and she was nearing her pregnancy due date (I later learned in chatting.) She was just grumpy because she had stuffed too many blankets in a small washer, complained that the washer wasnt filling with enough water, and the manager polity explained to her that she had stuffed the machine too full. She didn't like that answer, and argued with the manager about it. He was super polite and basically said... "your washer is too full, miss." After the managers left, I overheard the husband say "babe- this washer WAS way too full" as he was putting it all into a dryer. She said "I know.. I'm just miserable in this heat & and I'm sorry." So hopefully, they left happy with this laundromat, too! I'll definitely be back!! All the patrons and the staff were really nice and friendly today.

Hi Everyone, My name…read moreis Noble and I am here to tell you about a Laundry service in Rome, Georgia. Whether you want to wash your own clothes or drop off your clothes to be washed, dry, ironed, and folded. This is simply the best laundry service in town. When you walk through "The Wishy Washy" automatic sliding door way, you just get the feeling that this is no ordinary laundry service. Right away, the The Wishyt Washy co-owner James, stops to greet you and to welcome you in. He will guide you through using their high tech washing and drying machines that actually wash and dry your clothes! I can't say the same for some other laundry services! If you don't have the time to wash clothes yourself, then we have a reasonable plan that can save you time and money. They have a drop off laundry service. They'll wash, dry, iron and fold your clothes and it won't break your budget! Just incase you don't have the time like me, I sometimes use this service when I get tired of doing it myself. You can play Georgia State Lottory and Keno! They have a pool table, toys for the kids, video games, free coffee, 2 HD tv's and free Wi-Fi. So if you want to see what the best laundry service is in Rome, Georgia looks like, come and see for yourself! Also the attendents speak Spanish and English. They will welcome you in and treat you with extraudinary customer service. Very well done. Sincerely, Noble

Staff knew about it but the very pregnant employee certainly could do anything about it in her condition & I wouldn't want her to. Whoever put it there never should have. The stuff looks moldy and gross. Given the mess with the rest of the laundromat, I doubt anyone will disinfect that space once the insulation is removed. The chairs throughout the laundromat appear to have never once been wiped down and there is a ton of garbage and food in between them. The parking lot has litter all over it. It appeared that at least 1/5th of the dryers and washing machines were out of order. With so many laundromats in Rome, there is no need to go back to this one.

So if you're not familiar with the area you'll be looking at the wrong side of the road and drive in circles. Driveway is steep. Gotta back out at an angle or you'll scrape your vehicles bottom or back end. Facility is decent. Prices are a little high $4-6 for washing. Drying is ok at $1.50 a load. One bathroom for men and women or children to all share. No paper towels. 4 machines are taped over and not working. All in all ok and we'll use it again.

On my way home around 9:30 p.m. they were still open. How can the non American owned laundromat just down the street close on such an important holiday but SUDS can't let their employees be with their families? I know the owners weren't staffing the place. I am a weekly patron and pay an average of 25.00 per week to do my laundry there while my husband and I finish building our new home. Kim is awesome and the main reason I go there. I think I will go to the other laundromat simply because this one is apparently open on Christmas also. This tells me the owners are greedy and do not care about work life balance for their employees. Thank you Kim for everything. Keep smiling and God bless.
