I have never been talked to like that by anyone in the medical profession before!! I was insulted, shocked and appalled by such an attitude by a NovaCare employee. I do reiterate I am extremely impressed by the quality of care provided by Tara. I just strongly felt this AJ person should be held accountable for such deplorable behavior and attitude towards an established patient.

Unfortunately the person quoting didn't do it correctly and now I'm getting bills for $100+ PER VISIT. I never would have used this place if I knew it would be so expensive. The therapists are great but I'm wondering if this place is using bait and switch techniques to draw people in. Another woman I know had similar billing issues.

Very large waiting area with plenty of seating. Doctor was on time and very personable. Doctor was able to offer a plan with concrete next steps. All complex imaging procedures can be done onsite at their facility. Lots of specialty areas covered within the practice and well known for sports medicine. Several of the docs here are team doctors for CBJ. Also, this practice does not require a referral from primary care so it makes getting an appointment so much faster.

I'm…read morevery specific when I give my insurances on how they were billed etc. On July 14, 2023 and again on July 24,2023 I stopped into their billing office and told them if they billed correctly I should not receive a bill because Tricare for Life is a wrap around for Medicare and whatever Medicare doesn't cover Tricare for Life covers 100%. When Tricare for Life is billed either correctly or incorrectly I get notified staying they covered xyz amount or they state due to x probably they didn't pay and I'm not responsible for the bill because of their error. ortho one states I owe $283.61 and never billed Tricare for Life and since we're now rolling into 3 years after the fact----Tricare for Life will probably tell them to go kick rocks. I have NEVER received any correspondence about this from Tricare for Life which means they didn't bill. What's sad is these places are notorious for partial billing and sticking the patient with what's left over-----why accept $75 from Tricare when I can bill the patient for a higher amount of $284.61 I've explained it to them repeatedly and yet they still have not billed Tricare for life and yes they accept Tricare for life. Sad really. I currently have a text stating I owe $284.61 and it's their error not mine

He's also fun to work with. I actually look forward to my PT appointments. He's given me really positive feedback on my progress, which encourages me to keep going. I'm a middle-aged women with two busted ass knees, but I feel like a triathlete when I leave there.
