In the front they left shingles, old roofing paper, metal peices in between our house's and in my tree. In the back they left the same but also left nails. The nails made me the most mad due to I have a 2 year old who likes to run around with no shoes around her swing set where they left over 50 old rusted and new roofing nails. My neighbor called n they said they would come pick it up n never did. They don't care.

I go up on the roof to look it over again, and then go inside AFTER they leave to clean up, and 15-20 minutes later I get ready to take off for work and the phone is gone. I think I may have misplaced it so I call it. No answer. I do a location search and it says the phone is off. Now I'm worried. I try several times to locate it, unsuccessful. I know I left it on the patio. I ALWAYS do that. So I call the company, and they tell me they will call the crew and find out where it is. The crew chief says he saw me talking on the phone with the salesman of A&K Roofing when they were leaving. I was on the roof when they were leaving, nowhere near my phone. I have to brick my phone and change EVERYTHING about my passwords and security system. The salesman said he wanted to buy me a new phone, but I flew off the handle and told him he can't afford it, as it was an IPhone. I call the owner later and she tells me not to judge her salesman since I said that. I'm not judging ANYTHING here except the quality of the help. Do they even run background checks on these guys? I DOUBT IT. And the owner tells me her son has all the latest Apple products. WTF do I care? What about MY phone?? She tells me she will get back to me. I doubt that too.... Super long story short? DON'T USE A&K for anything until they can prove they have properly vetted their associates. And if you DO use them, hide your valuables and don't let them in your home.....

I have multiple complaints with this company. We had a tile floor installed. First off, failed to…read morecome for set appointment for appraisal until we called them. A project that was supposed to take a max of 3 days ended up taking 5. Granted I had to take extra time off from work because of this. I will say one of those days was our fault because we didnt appraise backing in the original project. Then, day 1 I to the tile installation, their machine broke and the project lead asked for money up front to pay for the replacement machine. That seemed fairly unprofessional and they did not come back that day. Day 2 of the installation, only one guy showed up, laid two rows and left without explanation. A couple of the tiles were uneven and the next day when they came, they laid half of the floor. My husband had them pull some of the tiles up, they cut the backing in removing those tiles. We had another error on the our part with the amount of tile purchased. A quick trip to Lowes and we were able to pick up a box smaller tile, in which the project lead did a nice design for us. After they left I noticed that they had cut the trim and frame (1) on 3 of my doors ruggedly instead of removing it. I could easily have painted this but now I have to replace the trim pieces and try to figure out how to fill the +1/4 inch visible gap in the frame. My biggest complaint was grouting not staying in the area where the backing was cut. The problem area covers two full lengths of the wood style tile and about a 1/4 plank further on both sides of the area. I contacted the project lead to come take a look for recommendations. Twice he failed to show with no explanation. Then he tells me it is because I didnt seal the floor properly. I told him that couldn't be true because if that was the case, the whole floor would be involved. He refused to honor their supposive lifetime warranty of the floor. They have me here because to have it appraised for any type of action, it would cost me more than it's worth, the floor would have to be pulled up to expose the seam of the cut backing. He said he would only honor as warranty on the floor to completely strip the grout from the entire floor. He also claims to have pictures of furniture sitting on the floor. He approved this on day 2 of the project because we had limited space. The planks in question were not involved with furniture sitting on them, that was on the two side areas. Those planks were not stepped on. I'm just thoroughly disgusted with this company, unprofessional all around. I never received any receipts or any type of hard copy warranty.
