Requested an estimate for boiler system service and flush. Patterson requires an all day window of availability from 0830 am until 4:00 pm for estimates. Scheduled apt with scheduler on Friday for following Monday. Both my husband and I made ourselves available for the entire day until 3 pm when we finally get a call they need to cancel. Apparently they believe only their time is of value. Excuse, tech ran into unforseen problems at other apts. Suggest if tech is running behind they figure this out earlier than 1 hour before end of scheduled day. read more

Patterson wanted $683.00 to replace a Moen shower valve insert that took only 45 minutes to replace! I asked AI for the average cost. AI reported that the average cost was $275.00 and if the entire valve needed replacing $375.00. I refused to hire them as I felt their prices were outrageous even for Pueblo! read more

I waited 2 days for a free estimate on having some plumbing work done. Only time they would give was between 8-4. I was sleeping when my doorbell rang. I was at the door in like 2 min. I opened the door, and no one was there. I saw the van in the street and called out several times. No one answered. I went to check the side door, and no one was there. Then I saw the van drive away. I called in to the office and told them what had happened, they couldn't have been more than 5-10 blocks away by then. Wouldn't call them and send them back. Rescheduled for tomorrow after 11. When I set the appt they wouldn't set for after 12 o'clock. Said they only do 8-4. We'll see. So now I'm up on 4 hours sleep and nothing to do. read more

I will never do business with your company again. I am beyond grateful we did NOT have your tech Robert back out to our property and decided to get a second opinion. Our plumbing issue was fixed in 30 minutes by another company for only $250!! They were able to remove the cable that was stuck in the pipe as it was not under the cement of patio like you said. It is not necessary to redo the entire plumbing under my house for $6000-$36,000 as proposed because it's in good condition, nor was it necessary to propose a charge of $1100 initially to do the job that needed to be done. Not only am I appalled at all of the estimated charges, but at the work your tech DIDN'T do after an ENTIRE DAY! He also left a wad of electrical wire in my pipe that was used to try and pull out the cable I guess or what I'm assuming, clog the pipe even more so we would be suckered into spending thousands on work that NEVER needed to be completed in the first place. Wow! I was harassed after telling your company that I no longer wanted to go forward with the estimate given to me. I was contacted multiple times by dispatch and the finance manager. It's not my problem that your companies employees are obviously incompetent, fraudulent and are costing you money. The plumber that came yesterday from another company simply used a retrieval tool that should have been used in the first place. I feel scammed and angry at the waste of time all of this was working with your company. This is outrageous and I still cannot believe you all were trying to scam us out of so much money! read more

Patterson plumbing & heating, Inc. Did not send a licensed plumber. The person they sent was Robert Lopez. He did what James & Sons Plumbing, LLC did. They both lied and acted like they could not find the part to fix the plumbing leak. They lie and act like they can't find the part. So more work has to be done and they make a lot more money. A third plumbing company I contacted was able to find the part. Robert Lopez also never provided a business card or a written estimate after I asked him for one. read more

Actually I would rate a -0. This contractor has shown a lack of professionalism, respect and honesty. They have taken advantage of the elderly and disabled by pushing an unnecessary project. In the process of rushing to cash in they did NOT follow proper protocol and violated EPA regulations! Asbestos was present and not properly dealt with and when it came time ti fix the mess they did not want to take care of their mess. read more

I read other reviews that said Patterson Plumbing & Heating were great, so I guess that's from people who received service. I wasn't so lucky. I set up an appointment to get an estimate for a furnace replacement. Theresa set me up for Thursday, August 19th. You'll note the lack of a time. They don't do appointment times, they expect you to spend your whole day near the house, by the phone for when they might call. Well, I need a furnace so I sucked it up. Then on Tuesday the 17th I got a call from Theresa informing me that I could get the first appointment the next morning. I happily agreed. She told me to expect a call between 8:00 and 8:30am when the technician would be dispatched. By 9am Wednesday, I had nothing, so I called. Jennifer informed me that the technician had an out-of-town appointment. That is, they bumped me. They didn't inform me that they bumped me, they just did it. She couldn't tell me when I might hope to get my estimate. Well, I had plans later and couldn't sit around the house all day waiting for a visit, so I asked to get my original appointment back for the next day. Here I am writing to you on that day. I've put everything on hold to wait for Patterson to deign to award me the blessed privilege of spending thousands of dollars with them. Jennifer called at 3:40pm to tell me that the technician wouldn't be able to make it out to me. I waited all day for this, their second lie. I told her that the experience had been so miserable that I don't want to do business with them. The kicker is that while I was waiting, I called Royal to setup an appointment for an estimate. A nice woman named Sarah set me up for 10AM tomorrow. Maybe you think that's an unfair comparison. Well, when I asked Fesmire for an estimate, he gave me an appointment within two days at a specific time. When I had R. Buck out here, they gave me a one-hour window and showed up in the middle of it. They treat their customers a whole lot better than Patterson does. The technicians at Patterson may be amazing, but you'll have to suffer the disdain and lies of the front office staffers like Theresa and Jennifer to get access to them. Outstanding Response and Outstanding work Patterson Plumbing and Heating arrived like the cavalry to out basement flooding emergency. The 1st crew eliminated the immediate problem on Tuesday, Oct 08, 2019. They promised to return Wednesday morning after the flooding was resolved. Wednesday and just as promised, Patterson sent Neil Toumey. Neil a true gentleman, hard worker, professional in every way explained everything step of what would be accomplished. He even said by the end of the day we would have water again or he would stay until we did. By the middle of the afternoon all was back but even much better than before. This is my second time utilizing the services of Patterson Plumbing & Heating. The new home has been dormant for a year or more and the downstairs furnace and AC system needed to be inspected. I called and spoke with dispatch who has been pleasant and friendly. They scheduled a technician for the following day. PPH technician Caleb Armijo arrived on time and did a thorough inspection. He took the time to review the condition and state of the furnace unit with me as he worked, and walked me through the various options for keeping it well maintained. Following the initial service and maintenance, the furnace igniter failed, Mr. Armijo returned and troubleshot the issue and replaced it without additional cost. Top marks for PPH and Caleb for doing a great job, and providing the type of customer service I expect when issues do arise. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank You. read more

My rating was based on the cost of the service.  $1500+ to unclog drains!  10 years ago, I paid $125 for a much larger house.  I understand that today it is much more difficult to find competent help and I don't expect to pay only $125.  These days your business is not only one taking advantage of people.  Some businesses like my auto repair services are not taking advantage of the current economic situation.  In the future, I will wait until I can find fair competent help. read more

Patterson Plumbing and Heating has always came to our rescue with urgency and great set of skills, solving our water problems in a timely fashion. Mike seems to be our set tech. He comes out whenever we've needed help. Recently, we had an emergency (no pressure and red/iron water) and PP&H team was able to schedule Mike to come out and trouble shoot the same day. I will never recommend this company to anyone. I called because my furnace was out and I was told they could not send anyone to me for one week. I was told if I wanted to spend an extra $130 that they would send somebody in off hours. I told them forget it and I called another company. I had a technician here within 30 minutes and an hour after I had talk to them my furnace was working. read more

They took care of a problem that we have been dealing with for over a month. Our second bathroom toilet was stopped up, the first plumber we called came out one week later and told us we needed a new toilet, would call us back, never heard from them, second plumber said they would call us back, didn't hear from them in over a week! Caller Paterson plumbing on Monday and got an appointment on Wednesday. They arrived early, took care of the problem. Very professional and friendly. Ended up I didn't need a new toilet! They had already installed the new toilet only to find out there was a plug further down the line! They offered to replace the old toilet and just charge the snaking, I opted for keeping the new toilet, I was only charged for the original estimate for the new toilet! We called this company for an emergency because their landing page says things like "Walsenburg plumbing, drain cleaning & water heater repair, replacement & installation services" and "Your Walsenburg plumbers." They most certainly are not. We called them and it turns out they're in Pueblo and they wanted $400 just to come down to Walsenburg. This isn't the first time we've encountered crafts people who think they can take advantage of people in this small town but implying on the landing page of their website that they're in Walsenburg when they are not is dishonest. Tried to take my wife for a ride. Came over, took a look for about a minute and told her the cost would be $6,000 to clear a kitchen drain because the grease trap was outside under the patio. Said he would snake it for $500, but that probably wouldn't work. He also told us we should go after the people we bought the house from for the cost. I contacted Patterson on a Saturday afternoon because my kitchen sink had backed up and I tried to fix it myself without any success. They sent out Neil and in addition to the sink problem we discovered that my ejector pump for the drain system had failed. He was able to get a new pump installed and fix my sink and fix a couple of other minor issues the same day. He finished everything in about three hours. He was very nice and very professional and efficient. He wore a mask the entire time and used shoe covers when entering my home. The cost was $1700 but well worth it to get everything operational. He also said they give a two year warranty on parts and materials. I would highly recommend them! I have used other plumbers in Pueblo such as Wright Jones and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

A representative came and gave me an estimate 1. to install a dishwasher, by removing an existing dishwasher. His cost over $600. 2. to install a vanity sink, by removing an existing bathroom sink. His cost over $1,200. Both the dishwasher and sink have no preexisting conditions, meaning they work perfectly. I'm only looking to put in something I find aesthetically pleasing. read more

I called Patterson plumbing and heating for help with a kitchen sink backup. I called after 9:00 PM expecting to speak to an answering machine. To my surprise, a real person answered and scheduled me for an appointment the following day. She was very polite and a received two separate follow up calls. On the day of the repair, Jon and Mark came a few minutes early up for our appointment. They were courteous and professional from the moment they walked in. The drain they came to repair turned out to be a real challenge and Jon had to try several methods but was determined to find a solution. I was impressed with his knowledge and determination. Had a water heater which quit working late in the evening. After looking at several reviews decided that Patterson Plumbing would be the best one to call. Called Patterson that evening and talked to Noel. She was very friendly and helpful. She told me that she understood my situation and would send Joe out, who was their best water heater serviceman early the next morning. Early that morning got a call from Raquel letting me know that Joe and Nathan were on their way. Joe looked at my water heater and told me that it was older and that my water heater and water regulator needed to be replaced. He took time to answer all my questions and explained in detail the work and cost involved in replacing the water heater and regulator. It was a very cold day when they installed the water heater in a unheated garage. Joe and Nathan worked hard and by two in the afternoon they were done and I had hot water again. Joe and Nathan were great to deal with. They were very friendly and courteous. Joe really enjoys his job and knows a lot about water heaters. He works hard to provide excellent customer service. It was a pleasure working with Joe, Nathan, Noell, and Raquel. Called the Patterson Plumbing and Heating Office to let management know about the great service I had received from their staff. I called Patterson plumbing & Heating (PPH) to fix a problem with our thermostats. Upon arrival, Tim Morales followed me down to the basement where I observed an additional problem...water coming from the hot water heater. Tim not only fixed the thermostat problems but he called an additional crew and had a new hot water heater delivered and installed. The crew checked all of the water pipes for corrosion, etc. Not only that but the water left a mess to say the least but when this crew left that entire area was clean as a whistle. The professionalism observed by Tim, Gyasi, Rich, and Thomas was way above and beyond what we anticipated. The only word I can come up with is "awesome". PPH has to be proud of this crew because we certainly are. we had visitors at the house for a period of time and they noticed the friendly, profession manner in which each of the crew members presented themselves. Additionally, the PPH customer service staff were our first contact, these agents were friendly, helpful, and considerate of our needs. They not only immediately followed up with an e-mail response with date and arrival time but also called us the due date to let us know the crew was departing the office and gave us an estimated time to expect them. Now... If that wasn't enough then customer service sent a picture on my iPhone of the person arriving to fix our problems. My wife and I are so very thankful, for the attention to detail, and response to our needs, that PPH has provided to us. We have never received such feedback on dates and/or arrival times from anyone over the many years we have dealt with other technicians. We are with Patterson Plumbing and Heating to stay. We recently moved into a home with acreage to help dogs in need. The first cold night the furnace went out. We called Patterson Plumbing and Heating. Brandon came and evaluated our furnace the same morning. The furnace was more than 20 years old, blower didn't work, motor was slow, some safety switches not working at all. We were given a couple of options, one included replacing at a cost of over $5,000 (MANY dogs can be saved for $5,000!). Another was to see if Patterson could find the parts somewhere that were no longer made but it would likley take a week or more and might not be possible. 5 days later we receive a call that not only had the parts been found but had been received and Caleb was on his way to make repairs. He arrived at 10:40 am and left at 5:45pm. We have a new motor, new blower, all new switches and even replaced all the screws. Joe always takes time to come and figure out where the plumbing lines are and how it works. I am dissatisfied with the customer service extended by the scheduler. I contacted the company on the 13th to set up an appointment for an estimate for a new furnace. The appt. was made for today at 11a.m. (I have a busy schedule and inquired as to how long I should reserve for the appt, and was told an hour and a half.) At 11:45, I was still waiting and had not received a courtesy call to advise of delay (emergencies happen) when I called to inquire, Be a advised that the technician was on his way in from Canon city and would be stopping for lunch and then he would be at my house. i asked why I was not given a courtesy call to advise of the reason he was late and was told that they do not "do courtesy calls" That response is not customer service friendly, so I then cancelled the estimate. it is unfortunate, I had heard good things about the company. Customer service should always be a priority. This company has lost out on my job, simply because my time was not important to the secretary/scheduler. read more
