We also saw flowers, art, hard cider and wine, popcorn, baked goods, chocolates, honey, wood, leather, clay, paper, jewelry, and fiber works. Also some ready-to-eat asian food. There was even a tour boat docked out back. The range of goods was amazing. The open air market was a nice weekend activity.

I purchased a hair pin which is quite beautiful and I look forward to wearing. This is a must see, it was with the one hour drive, we spent the whole day here. Yesterday was full of beautiful fall flowers, mostly mums, but several people has succulents which are great all year round. Homemade Bread, rolls, bagels, cookies, cakes,pies.... pretty much anything you could want. Homemade honey, pickles and kimchi. Farms selling lamb, beef and chicken. Homemade cheese and pasta and jams. The vegetables from local farms...some organic. I much prefer buying from the local farmers and not when people are selling out of grocery store bulk purchased boxes.

We found the prices all over the map, with some items being a great deal and some being a bit expensive - shop with care and you will be rewarded with great quality. The small-batch prepared frozen meals are excellent, the chicken pie was full of real food and the price was good. Not all of the cheeses are produced by small farms, but there is a large selection of those that are. We got lucky enough to make it to their "Customer Appreciation Day" and meet many of the food vendors. It was fun to put faces to the companies and farms - not all were Amish folks, some were outsiders who seemed to be treated with just as much respect. The store is welcoming and seems to have a good attitude. I was hesitant at first, but after a few visits I feel very comfortable shopping there.
