The pool and splash pad is adjacent and fenced in; to enter the pool, there is a fee. The splash pad has benches and a grassy area to put your stuff down. The restrooms were clean and there was a Little Free Library right near there. What I loved about the park was the ample amount of shade. Definitely a fun place to take the kids in the summer.

We had a very enjoyable time strolling on their trails and taking in the pretty scenery around its big pond. We saw a ton of features on the park grounds - a wood bridge over the water and a splash pad, playground and playscape where the kids were having a blast. We saw families hanging out at their grills and picnic tables, plus a Little League field, basketball, volleyball, tennis courts and a big swimming pool. The leisure and entertainment opportunities here are fantastic. What a great place to relax and enjoy!

The playground had swings, a sandbox, and a playscape. There is a large pond and a short boardwalk that goes through a nature preserve. There is a short paved trail in the middle of the park. There were many picnic tables and benches throughout. I'm betting this is a great spot to go sledding during the winter since there are many hills there. What an unexpected treat! Wolcott Park sure exceeded my expectations…read more In the shadows of the Westfarms Mall and pretty much right next to the busy Corbins Corner shopping center, there it is. We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves today. We walked the park's paths that meander through its 28 acres and connect so many great entertainment and athletic options. We saw an amphitheater, six clay tennis courts, a lighted little league field, a soccer field, a Children's Forest, a huge playground, pickleball courts, a splash pad, a nice pond, hiking trails, pretty scenery, and a long boardwalk over wetlands. That's a ton of things for your enjoyment. I really didn't expect this park to be as awesome as it was, but I was thrilled to have underestimated it.

There was a restroom and a large field adjacent to it. Further yonder, the elementary school can be seen. There was a little free library and so much space for the kids to play. It's a boundless playground so it is handicap accessible. One thing I noticed, was that there were trash everywhere even though there were trash cans around. It was quiet when we went but a summer camp of about 50 kids came; this may be the reason it gets wrecked with trash and it doesn't get picked up on a daily basis. I am not sure if the town's public works department keeps up with the maintenance of this; it's unfortunate because it is a lovely playground. This wouldn't deter me from going back. It's a great space for the kids to release some energy. I look forward to checking out the splash pad next to it as well.

A park with a…read moreschool Eisenhower Park opened back in 1969 and was initially in a pretty isolated place. A nice little neighborhood park that fit in nicely between the streets. That all changed in 1971 when the new high school opened right next door. The park is still a nice place but definitely not as quiet and peaceful as it was during the first years of it's life. It can actually be difficult to find the park because of the large high school athletic fields right next door. The park does have two swimming pool, basketball courts, baseball field, soccer field, picnic area and lots of room for running around. Some really good hoops use to be played here in the past but I'm not sure if such competitive games around still around. One of the five neighborhood parks in West Hartford and perhaps the least known to people outside of the area. It still is a nice park to play some ball, go swimming and just spend some time outside.,

Sunny Crest Park has got the Green…read more The entrance to this park is near the intersection of Parsonage Street and Apple Grove Lane. There is a single private parking lot which allow you the full view of the park. The south side of the park has a baseball field. The west side of the park is set up for soccer. The north and east sides of the park makes up one large open field that is large enough to be use for any sort of field sports or recreation. There was a game of cricket being played by a large group while we were here. With its ease of access and large green space this would be a great park for anything that involves playing or relaxing in the sun on some nice green grass.

Took my two nephews 14 + 11, they had so much fun! We drove an hour and a half each way to take…read morethem here because a friend recommended it. It was so worth it! We got to go on several courses, my partner, 33 years old completed the black diamond course, he said it was hard though! Let that remind you to get in there with the kiddos! I had so much fun keeping up with them, the one with the 6 or 7 zip lines was the best! I ended up with a sore shoulder the next day, but totally worth it! I hope to do the light up one at night next time we go!
