The young lady up front I believe her name is "Cheyenne" is always very polite and informative and I have also dealt with a young mechanic "Dillon" several times, always polite and very knowledgeable. So to get to the point, there was nothing wrong with our vehicle after Dillon looked at it, they let me know what I could do at the house to address the issue and I left with a smile. The point here is they could have charged me to look at my vehicle and then for service and or parts, that we didn't need and so on. But they didn't! After only one day, the AC stopped cooling again. I returned to the shop, and instead of fixing the issue, they suddenly told me I needed additional parts costing $2,500. When I refused and asked for my money back because the original repair did not work, they refused and said the money was gone because the gas was already used. I feel cheated and disappointed. I paid for a repair that lasted only one day, and there was no proper solution or customer support afterward. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. My advice don't send your car to this repair shop at all.

Told $85 just to diagnose which will go towards any repairs, I agreed. Told brake pads only half gone. I asked if they could grease anything, said it would cost almost $400 to grease the calipers and was given a quote for new brakes. Left paying them $85 with nothing done to my car. Went straight to a Jiffy Lube on Gleannloch Forest, they looked at my brakes (for free) and greased them also for free (not inside the calipers as offered at Ripley's). Jiffy gave me a very reasonable quote for new brakes. When I called Ripley's back, I was told that Jiffy gave me a temporary fix which actually is fine with me, I wasn't offered that at Ripley's. I expected a reasonable effort to resolve the issue, particularly since I paid $85, and I won't be returning to Ripley's.

We were charged $5,223.17, which is an outrageous amount. During the repair, I received a phone call saying they couldn't find new rims and would have to use used ones. I was never given the option to wait for new rims or choose another solution. They made the decision for me. When I picked up the car, I was shocked. The "used" rims were covered in scratches and looked terrible. When I expressed how unhappy I was, I was told they had "saved me $400." That isn't a savings when you're paying over $5,200 and receiving scratched, used parts that make the car look worse. I trusted this shop to be honest and treat us fairly. Instead, I left feeling ripped off, misled, and taken advantage of. For over $5,000, I expected quality workmanship, communication, and the opportunity to approve such a major change before it was done. I would never recommend this shop to anyone, especially women or single parents who are trusting a repair shop to do the right thing.
