They were able to schedule us immediately once we received all the bids, and the project took roughly 9 weeks from start to final walkthrough. Utah Basements was the second highest bid received, partly because they did not do the flooring (which we got through RC Willey). Communicating with Todd was very convenient, and he responded quickly to text, email, and messages through the UBKB online client portal, where we formally documented design changes. Victor was on site most days and was extremely professional and very friendly. He answered all of our questions, gave helpful suggestions, and always contacted us when there was an issue or he needed direction. Once materials were in, the crew made fantastic progress framing, plumbing, and electrical. The rest of the process went very smoothly, with the minor exception that a bunch of paint touch ups were needed, but those were taken care of immediately. Overall we had a top-notch experience with Todd, Victor and UBKB, couldn't be happier with the final product, and would definitely recommend them if you need a basement finished!

This damage has caused electrical issues in my vehicle, as water is now leaking onto the passenger side floor. As a result, my electronics shut off randomly while driving. When we took the car back to the shop, the representative we spoke with denied any responsibility. They even claimed it was either my fault or caused by a previous windshield replacement. However, we haven't replaced the windshield in at least three years. Not to mention, since when does the average person--like myself--remove all the trim around the windshield and start tampering with things? Short answer: I don't. They did something to redirect the water from leaking into my car, when we took it back in, but it didn't work. Now my car is completely ruined. They don't stand by their work, and I'm left needing to buy a new vehicle. They don't care! Do not go here unless you want them to damage your car to the point where water seeps into the electronics and ruins everything. They will not stand by the work they do and are now costing me thousands of dollars.

We were moving out so I intentionally cleaned prior to their arrival to make sure they could do "final-touch" work for our new renters, as the house was already empty and pre-cleaned before they started. When I asked the question, they responded that "their employees stay busy during their time at our property and that they care..." That's great and all but "busy work" doesn't mean that the consumer will get the quality of work they are paying for as promised by their service level agreement. Blinds, baseboards, the whole shebang in three hours - a deep clean allegedly. I noticed a couple of things, asked if they cleaned. The answer was yes, which I clearly knew wasn't the case. I was in the middle of conference calls and didn't have time to police their work until I took a quick lunch break and was so irritated I decided to get out my Swiffer and Clorox wipes. You can imagine how unhappy I was. Floor wasn't done. Countertops still dirty. Baseboards not done. Glass not done. Stove not wiped. Went to the living room and it started all over again. Dirty blinds.The photos speak for themselves. I reached out with photos within an hour of the gals leaving to express how disappointed and unacceptable this is, got a text response an hour+ later asking if they could call tomorrow to talk about the situation and schedule a time in the future for it to be fixed. Wow. Excellent customer service. I hired them for help because I'm busy and they had great reviews, waited three weeks for an appointment and ended up having to clean my house on my own anyway and also lost $500 in the process. $83.33/hr per person for this? Perhaps I need to start a cleaning business. Hate to provide this feedback to a small business but you can't be operating this way, though it seems like there's really no rush to correct any issues. Canceling all future maintenance visits I'd signed up for as well. Hard pass for me.

I texted him and he basically said I was the problem because he gave me a good price and that I was being ungrateful. I'm not going to lie and say he didn't work hard and try to do a good job. I think Richard lacks in customer service skills and maybe his abilities are not up to such difficult tasks. I was very disappointed that we couldn't come to an understanding about finishing the job because we had talked about more projects around my home that needed to be done. *I just read Richards response to my review. I don't like being dismissed as the problem here. I have an estimate and text messages to back up what I have claimed.
