We recently had the flooring on our main floor and our half bath redone by Justin and his team. We…read morehad such high hopes for this project and ended up having a really bad experience instead. The project manager Tim did an incredibly poor job of communicating with us and we never knew when they were coming or what the plan was. When Joe and his team showed up to demo, they acted like we were a huge inconvenience to them and didn't want to be there. They were also supposed to haul away all of the things they pulled out, but left a large portion of it in our garage instead. The literal only part of experience that was good came down to Eric. He's the one that installed the floors and he was so great. He was the only one who communicated with us and acted like we weren't a burden to them. Work that was supposed to be done was missing from the work orders of the different contractors, and so they complained about having to do it. We were told we could reuse the baseboards no problem, but when then when Joe and his team came to reinstall them, he acted like we'd made a huge mistake by not replacing them instead. We would have been happy to have new baseboard ready, had they ever communicated that to us or put it in the bid (which they did not). We ended up having to doing it ourselves. Joe and his team also installed our vanity in the wrong spot in the bathroom so we couldn't open one of the cabinet doors. It wasn't even level so we had to uninstall it and fix it ourselves. Sadly, other than Eric, the whole process was an extremely poor experience. When we talked to Justin and communicated our frustration with the whole process and told him how much of the work we had to do and fix ourselves, he offered us an insultingly low discount off the total cost. All in all, the whole experience was frustrating and disappointing. We had hoped we'd found a company we could use for our next renovation project, but sadly we'll have to find someone else.
