2nd time at Adams Street, almost a year later, and it was just as good! We opted to try new items we hadn't gotten yet- Mac and cheese and the sea bass. While still getting favorite from last time- steak of course, corn dip and potato petals, candied bacon. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Me and my wife enjoyed it so much. The ambiance and service is top notch. The best service we have received from any restaurant. So warm and friendly, then the delicious food. The steak is melt in your mouth, the mash potatoes are so creamy and delicious. My wife had chilean bass which was cooked to perfection I had to have a bite. The manager came to say hello and was like a good friend warm and inviting. The restaurant is in an old renovated house and is beautiful inside. Our waitress did a good job, not very personable, but her family was at the next table so her attention was on them. She spent a lot of time on them, and a minimal amount on us. For appetizer we got the crab cakes. Don't waste your money. They're just ok. I ordered prime rib and my wife ordered the Sea Bass. Both entrees were excellent! For dessert we split a crème brûlée which was a nice finish to the meal. In Muncie there are 2 top notch steakhouses. Adams Street and Lahody's. I have to give Lahody's the edge in every category but Adams Street isn't far behind. I'd give them another try. read more

What a great find! The food was SO amazing. We started with the shrimp cocktail and, like the menu states, it'll make your eyes water. Had a wonderful dinner at Adams Street Chophouse for Valentine's Day. When we made the reservation we indicated I needed a gluten free menu due to Celiacs Disease. Lilly was our waitress. She was amazing. She was the most prepared waitress I ever had. When she took our order she had already researched each course and told me all my gluten free options. My husband and I shared the duck and Chilean Sea Bass. Both were amazing. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The manager Brandon did a great job rounding on our table making sure everything was great. Ended our meal with delicious creamy crème brûlée. The decor is tasteful and welcoming. I love this restaurant/bar located in Muncie, Indiana. There is seating at a beautiful outdoor patio. A bathroom is conveniently located outside. People can smoke outside. One can order a Modelo beer in a bottle. Bonus! The previous restaurant/bar located here had an awful beer selection. UGH. Steak so tender I thought I'd gone to heaven, with a colonial interior atmosphere that makes you feel like you're stepping back in time.

Really nice meal out. Atmosphere is wonderful, service was prompt and friendly. I selected the 5 oz filet with poblano corn and whipped garlic potatoes and all were delicious. My steak was perfectly cooked to medium-rare. Husband ordered the duck which was equally delicious. Skin was nice and crisp, fat was rendered well. My only change is that I would love to see the onion jam served warm over the duck rather than cool on the side. The apple cobbler for dessert was delicious, and I took home a slice of carrot cake to enjoy later. We will certainly be back! read more

The massive prime rib was so tender and flavorful that we were just amazed. We could not eat it all and not have to be rolled out of there so we both took home a nice portion for another meal. The place was packed on a Friday night and we didn't have reservations but the table we waited for was ready earlier than they said and was in a great location and then the service was super. We were celebrating our 62nd anniversary and word got around to so many people who said congratulations it was so unexpected. It capped off a wonderful evening of the two of us celebrating what God has blessed us with - each other. This building was once a stately home and the craftsmanship in this home has been preserved so well it almost took us back in time. We will be back again soon because it suits everyone from just a couple or a large gathering. read more
