We ate here three times this week. My husband and son had the filet skewers and both said they were fantastic and cooked exactly as ordered. My son-in-law ordered the biggest chicken sandwich I've ever seen! It was enough for two people. My daughter had the chicken Alfredo and said it was delicious. I had the catfish, baked beans, and coleslaw with crushed peanuts all three times!! I do believe I switched up and had the Cesar salad and it was fresh and really good. I have to admit, Amazing Joe's was. . . amazing. The tuna I had, the sirloin my wife had and the chicken parm our son had, all amazing. The waitress amazing. The bread, well, my wife and I didn't eat it only for dietary choices, but our son said it was amazing. Everything cooked spot on. We came in based on the solid reviews. We were warmly greeted as we walked in and seated immediately. Our server was Alivia and she was exceptional. I had read on a review about Sunday night margarita specials for $3.99 for a regular one and .99 more for a flavored one. My husband had a regular one and I had a frozen strawberry margarita. It was the best one I've had in a while. And it was large. I ordered the grilled shrimp. It was served on a bed of rice and came with two sides. I had the Caesar salad and green beans. The salad was fresh and crisp with a great dressing on it. And the green beans were superb. They had bacon and onions in them and had a great seasoning on them. The shrimp had ten medium sized shrimp on them. They were cooked just right but could have handled a bit more seasoning. They were good but not full of flavor. My husband had the grilled salmon. It was a large portion. He tried the Italian salad and liked it. I will definitely look forward to coming back in the near future. Alivia was very knowledgeable about the menu. She checked on us often and was exceptional as our server. I was also impressed that the manager checked on us after we got our food and made sure we didn't need anything. This is a must try in the Muncie area!! We went on a Sunday evening around 6:30p and the place was packed. So obviously other people know about this gem. The facility is a little dated on the outside. The parking configuration is weird so you might end up parking in the "back lot" which feels a bit removed from the restaurant. The outdoor seating looks very inviting...especially in the evening when the restaurant shades the diners from the sun. The interior is clean and semi modern. Lots of wood and a bit of an older dated feel. Everything was in good repair and booths were comfortable. As an appetizer we started with the fried pickles and onion rings. The pickles are definitely a MUST! The batter is thick and slightly crunchy. I'm guessing the batter is spiced with garlic, salt and some extra dill flavor. The pickles are small dill chips. They dill flavor just pops! Excellent job! The onion rings came with a thick crunchy batter. The batter was harder and dark brown. The onion ring was an okay thickness and not too greasy. I wasn't as fond of the hard, over cooked taste. Especially after having the pickles. Both appetizers came with a basic ranch sauce. Prior to dinner you get rolls...and more rolls...which are delicious. Very soft, small rounds with a simple buttery type taste. No need to lather them up with anything. Just enjoy them while they are fresh. I ordered the BBQ wing basket. You only get to pick from three sauces. There were seven breaded and fried medium sized wings in this traditional serving. The BBQ sauce was thick and stuck to the wings. It had a very mild amount of spice with a stronger sweetness taste. Nothing special about the flavor - just thick and sweet BBQ. The other two sauces were a buffalo and the Fugedaboutit sauce. This sauce is thin with lots of heat and flavor. It has a buffalo tang with a hit of fruit flavoring. My wife had a side of peanut slaw. The slaw was okay. Heavy on the mayo base but fresh. The slaw was topped with crushed peanuts which really didn't give it much of an accent. She also had a side of sweet potato fries. These were nice and thin, crispy without an oily taste. Not a strong potato taste and just a little season. You MUST ask for HOT Caramel dipping sauce for the fries. This jacks the sweet in sweet potato up to a whole another level!! Overall I really enjoyed the experience. I would definitely recommend Amazing Joes to anyone in the Muncie area! read more

After a long day of travel I arrived in Muncie starving. I checked Yelp and saw great reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. It was as good as the reviews. Service was excellent and the food was great. I started with the side Italian salad. The dressing was flavorful and the ingredients were fresh. For my entree I ordered the chicken kabob with a side of broccoli. The kabob was tender and juicy. The rice was cooked perfectly and you really can't mess up broccoli too bad. The next time I come to Muncie for work this will be one of my stops. I've already told my boss who is coming next month to give them a try. read more
