I am both a parent and an early education advocate. I have seen and visited stellar early ed programs in Milton and across the state and country. Adams Street is among the best I have seen. The owner is a completely passionate and effective teacher, very much in tune and aware of the individual needs of her children and their families. A small business owner, she goes out of her way to ensure an affordable, high-quality, loving and nurturing experience for each and every child......even sometimes quietly offering, at her own expense, financial support for those without the resources to pay. Her teachers are outstanding, providing the children with a great foundation upon which they can build and thrive in kindergarten and beyond. We looked at lots of centers before choosing Adams Street.....while we are blessed in Milton to have many outstanding ones, our family was very very very happy that we chose Adams Street. read more

I totally disagree with Lynn N -- so much so, that I wonder if she reviewed the wrong school! As parents, we try and find a place where our kids will feel safe and comfortable and will make new friends and hopefully have a little fun. Of course, there are many pre-schools that fit this criteria, but the MAIN reason we send our son to ASELC is BECAUSE of the director -- and the warmth and kindness she has shown both to him and to me and my wife. To meet her is to love her and it is crystal clear that she truly pours her entire self into the school. As a result, she has created an environment in which the kids are taught and cared for by exceptional women, who we, as parents, feel have become extensions of our own family. It has been a joy watching our son learn and grow this year -- and we are so glad that our daughter will follow in his footsteps so we can remain part of the ASELC community. read more

My son attended Adams Street last year and had the best teachers we could have asked for. He thrived in this learning environment which was both nurturing and educational. He came home with new information to share with us every week and made some really great friends. The families at this school are also THE BEST, everyone is so willing to help one another and the school. We visited several schools before deciding on Adams Street and none compared. When we looked at Adams Street we were invited in to observe a real class and watching the teachers (especially the Director) interact with students made us feel confident that our son would be getting the best preschool experience. We will be sending our son to Pre- K this year and feel that this is the best way to prepare him for Kindergarten at the Milton Public Schools. read more

My 3 children attended ASELC and my youngest just graduated from their Pre-K program. I cannot disagree with Lynn N. more. It doesn't sound like she sent her kids there so not really qualified to rate the school...especially with a scathing review. I have been involved with the school for the past 4 years and LOVE it. The teachers are wonderful, caring and nurturing. They are professional and loving. I realize that you can find that in any preschool but one of the main reasons I sent my kids there is the owner. She is one of the most wonderful people I've ever met. Hard working, dedicated and she puts her heart & soul into that school. She received Milton Educator of the Year award in 2014. In my opinion, one of the best (if not THE best) preschools in Milton and the area. read more

Love Adams street ! Sounds like the person who wrote the negative review has the wrong pre school as it could not be further from the truth! The owner is the most caring , generous, heartfelt and loving person who is not in if for making a profit! Her focus is solely on the children and their needs! We sent our twins here for two years and love it!!! We have referred many families here- all of whom have had the same very positive experience! Love adams street and all the teachers! We have had a wonderful experience with this school and the entire staff - I would even say it was transformative for our daughter after just one year. The owner of the school was one of her teachers and was so attentive, thoughtful and caring that I have no doubt the money coming in is the very last thing on her mind! I am going into my 4th year with Adams Street Early Learning Center and can not disagree more with Lynn N. I am sorry that you felt that way about the owner because she is one of the most sincere, caring, hard working people I know. From my experience she goes above and beyond for her students. I'm starting my 3rd year at ASELC. The teachers are skilled and provide developmentally appropriate support to the children while they grow and flourish. The main reason why I have sent my 2 boys is because of Chris the owner - she is amazing. read more
