We got chatting about a particular firearm my wife is interested in. He showed a few options, was super knowledgeable, not pushy at all. It was a great first visit and definitely a place I look forward to returning to in the future. Clean, bright, well stocked, ample parking, reasonably priced, easy to get to from just about anywhere and a knowledgeable owner... a real recipe for success! Might just be my new go to gun shop! Then I found Lee's, and everything changed. Justin walked me through everything--weight sizes, rod types, bait selection--all in a way that was clear, approachable, and perfect for a beginner like me. Starting something new like this can be overwhelming and intimidating, but Justin made it incredibly digestible. He's patient, friendly, and knowledgeable as heck. On top of that, he gave me some great tips on local fishing spots and some DIY tricks that work for him. The prices are super reasonable too--much better than big-name stores like Dick's or even Sierra. If you're new to fishing or looking for quality gear and advice, you can't go wrong with Lee's. Been coming here for a few years now and I've had nothing but positive experiences at the shop…read more Other reviews talk down on the customer service/wait time, but that's because at any given time there's like 50 million people crowding the store shoulder to shoulder. This is not a large store, it is ran by only a couple of people. You cannot expect them to get through an entire crowd of customers as quickly as Walmart could. Also most of the purchases are for ammunition or firearms, which you must do paperwork for every single time in this state. You shouldn't be surprised that it takes a little bit more time to serve customers than other stores, especially with how popular this store is. Every inch of the store is covered with gun parts, ammunition, guns, etc. I've always been able to find what I need and the employees were always eager to look through EVERYTHING for what I need if I couldn't find something on my own. The employees are also very knowledgeable, and have frequently given me advice on gun maintenance, cleaning tips, and warnings about flaws in older models of firearms and how to avoid putting myself in danger while using them. They care about their customers and there's no questioning that. I've also consistently found excellent deals at their shop, particularly in regards to military surplus rifles/antique firearms (I just got a mint condition replica traditions muzzleloader for $150, and normally this models sells for about $400 online as a kit). Multiple reviews say that the employees are rude, however I have never seen that, even when I was new to the firearms community and would ask the most braindead questions a shop owner could hear. I'm not discrediting other people's experiences, but none of the workers have ever spoken down to me or disrespected me for any reason. I have however seen my fair share of snobby and "know it all" customers try to argue with the shop owners, and that's when they tend to get dismissed by the employees. It's as simple as treating others how you would like to be treated, and I guess some people missed learning about the golden rule when they were in kindergarten. Overall I love this store and will continue to buy from them for as long as I can, just try to come around when it's not as crowded cause it will take a little bit to get to the front of the line.

It's frankly a game changer for me, having someone like Eric who i can discuss and debate gun customization ideas around and can execute those ideas.
