If you're looking for that, this is a good stop. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have some of the local fossils, some of which were abundant in the paving stones at the Cliffs of Moher park. In fact, we stopped to buy those--but they are probably not of interest to the types of tourist that this shop is geared towards. I did find a dark chocolate whiskey candy bar here, which I enjoyed. They do have a little coffee shop with desserts and pastries...a bit incongruous with the concept of a rock and gem shop.

They have jewelry, decorations, candles, you name it. A great little spot to pick up a gift for someone. There is a lovely cafe at the back which serves a great selection of cakes and coffees. Staff were very friendly. I popped here on a very wet day, and warmed up with coffee and a slice of lemon drizzle cake. A latte, flat white, slice of lemon drizzle and a slice of apricot and almond cake €13.20. Yummy.

The location of this Wool store is genius!…read more Tourists from all over come to visit the Rock of Cashel, which is right up the street from the Cashel Woollen Store. And the wind gets crazy up there!! It gets super cold also. And many, like myself, were not prepared for that level of wind and that amount of cold. I was freezing and my thin cardigan just wasn't holding up! I stopped in the Cashel Woollen Store to grab a jacket and beanie. This is the perfect place for that. They have all the warm and cozy things you could need! It is pricey. So, not the best value. But when you are cold, you are cold. lol Service was great.

They also had the friendliest staff that were so sweet and knowledgeable. We spent some time socializing. I only purchased a scarf in this store and I am in deep regrets that I did not do all of my shopping here. I told myself not to jump on the first store on my first day without knowing what else would be available. I was initially planning a jam packed tour of all of Ireland and this afforded a lot of shopping potential. As it turned out for me this was the best store out of all that I traipsed through and now I have to wait a year and a half to return because I don't want to pay shipping costs. Don't make my mistake...if you are there and love it...buy it.

Pretty impressive! We only had about 30 minutes to browse Blarney Woollen Mills. In that time, Wifey found a very cool jacket to purchase at an affordable price point. In that time, she also forgot her sunglasses at the shop. We already faraway from the shop when she realized that she misplaced it. She immediately called the shop, but by that time the sunglasses were nowhere to be found. The employee who answered the phone was not very helpful or sympathetic though. Very sad and disappointing customer service!!! Despite the loss of my wife's beloved sunglasses, it was still an okay experience overall. This shop carrys all kinds of clothes, crafts, food, plus so much more. Blarney Woollen Mills is known as having the great Irish Shopping Experience after all. Absolutely check this place out after you kiss the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle of course. Just don't forget any of your possessions while you are here because chances are great that they will be unable to help you.

A Heartfelt Shoutout to Máura Burke!…read more I just had the most wonderful shopping experience thanks to Máura at the store! While browsing for an Aran Crafts sweater, I was greeted by her warm and friendly smile that instantly made me feel welcome. From the moment I walked in, Máura went above and beyond to understand what I was looking for. I shared my budget and preferences, and she listened attentively before offering me a couple of stunning options. I immediately fell in love with a beautiful side zip hoodie featuring a heart pull zipper--absolute perfection! What truly stood out was the genuine care Máura showed throughout the process. There was zero pressure to buy, just pure enthusiasm for helping me find something special. It's rare to encounter such phenomenal customer service that makes you feel appreciated as a customer! Thanks to Máura, I walked away with a sweater that I absolutely adore! Thank you for making my shopping experience so memorable.
