Emergency flashers on. Slowed down from 70. To 60 then 50. Tap the brake don't freak. It's ok. Hold on. Tap the brake again. Ease off the road. Keep it on the shoulder. Slow down. Slow down. Ok. Stopped. Put it in park. Breath. Dep Brest. Call 911. HELPPPPP!!!!!!! Body shaking. Fear rising. Louisiana states finest. On its way. Tire tool wrong size. Can't change the tire. Tow truck on way. Still shaking. Towed to the nastiest motel the baymont in Lafayette. Homeless haven. Check in. That was my night. The next morning. I called the hero's. Sweet man didn't mind my Cali gen at 7 am. Said they would get some one out with in the hour. And they did. The sweetest cutest young man by the name of Chance came to my rescue. He was up and under my truck seeing if he could get the spare down No such luck. But he brought me a tire. And watching him work with such professionalism and speed. Reminded me of my dad. Who weed tires. His hands were the hands of a hard working man. His entire deamor and manner was charm polite kind and empathetic. He gave me his card and said if I ever needed help no matter the time or day. To call. They would come to me. No matter where I was in the area. I felt as if I was finally safe and it reminded me of the service calls I used to go out on with my dad. And as a 60 year old female. That memory was worth the wait. Thank you. Said they can't change pads without changing rotors.. Said that all my lug nuts were swollen to the point they couldn't even take them off and tried to charge me for all new ones at 22 dollar unit price ( just put four new tires on my car and i had no issue taking the lug nuts off and putting them back so could be a skill issue idk) ((also obviously were intending to use the most expensive lug nuts they could, 7 a piece for partial aluminum ones)).. i'd recommend just going on ahead and doing any brake jobs yourself or elsewhere...

I called back and spoke with someone different. Told the lady that the last person I was on the phone with gave me a different price. She basically tells me idk what I'm talking about. Later on, she tells me to come Friday morning at 11am for my appointment. I show up around 10:50am and tell the front desk guy my name.. he says I'm not in the system. Come to find out the tires don't come in till 4pm that day. Huge miscommunication and it set my plans back. Communicate more effectively!
