This shop was recommended by a mechanic and I'm glad he did. I called ahead to discuss type of tires and they ordered the 2 I wanted. They changed out the tires quickly. What impressed me was the tech telling me that the recommendation to replace the two front tires was not going to solve the problem I was describing. He was right. His advice to get the back tires balanced again at the dealership was the correct course. The dealership said the front tires were balanced perfectly so I verified the quality service from McDonald Tires. Will get all my tires here in future. I called in on Wednesday midday and spoke with Rhonda. I explained, my daughter lives in Baton Rouge and I am calling from Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. I told Rhonda, my daughter hit a pot hole Tuesday night and we need to have her car towed in for a tire replacement. I further explained, I needed to find out if they had her particular tire in stock before having AAA transport the car to find out they don't have the tire. Rhonda said, "I can order the tire and have it here in about 2 hours." She gave me a price for the tire, plus a few less expensive options. I asked if we can order the tire and have to car towed the following morning? Rhonda said, "that will be fine." Thursday morning my daughter and her car arrived via tow truck to the shop. I told my daughter to keep me informed about the progress. I think it didn't even take an hour from start to finish with replacing the new tire onto the car. For those of you who have children living away attending college, etc. You know, It's a parent's worst nightmare for your child to call about car trouble and you are miles away. Updated today June-03-2019 Had a flat tire on my brand new car by the time I got here. They didn't have one but they got on the phone and located me a tire and then they actually went and got the tire and I was out of here pretty fast. This is the best and fastest tire shop in town or anywhere around that's for sure. They also stand behind what they do! Tires aren't sexy nor the funnest thing to shop for but if you have a car you have to buy tires and this is the best place in Baton Rouge for all your tire needs. They have the best price in Baton Rouge are anywhere around here. If you hate wasting your day buying tires then again this is the fastest place in and out with all 4 tires balanced and installed in under 30 minutes. I drove up at 9:26 and left at 9:41 after having my tire repaired by friendly and professional employees. Because I bought my tire at McDonald's, there was no charge. There is absolutely nothing fun and exciting about having a tire repaired but McDonald's made sure I had plenty of time to find something fun and exciting to do. Highly recommended! read more

This is a great place to get a tire. The guys are so nice and friendly. I had a back tire I needed replaced. While I was in the little office waiting, the guy came in to tell me they put a new tire on, but it didn't look good and they were going to take it off and put a different one on to make sure I would be good. He just wanted to let me know it would be a few more minutes. I liked how they were honest and actually cared about my safety and not just making money. The tire only cost my 39.00. I was worried I might be taken advantage of since I was a woman and by myself, but they were so fair and easy to work with. I will definitely come back here if I need any more tires. If you need tire help....and we all do at some time in life....Stop right now and go here! This business is so good they are in a league by themselves! Our whole office goes here and we get all the tire service for our company cars here. My last flat that they serviced I was In and out in less than 20 minutes from the time I pulled in the driveway. The parking area was about full. But they greeted me in less than 60 seconds! The charge was less than 15 dollars! My partner at work needed a new truck tire and they sold him a 200 + dollar new tire for 50.00 with tax and installation!They are sooooo nice and they rock and roll! Rhonda was very nice and helpful! Everybody that works here is a super hero! We had used a bunch of other tire service centers around town before we found McDonalds. The others had us waiting for hours. If we were not buying a whole set of tires we got pushed back and had to wait endlessly. Not at McDonalds... All our staff that use them comment on how efficient and professional they were treated. I am so thankful for the service that I received today. We noticed that our tire was literally about to come apart, due to a puncture of some sort. Although we had a tire warranty through Toyota, they would not replace it. We would have had to spend a ridiculous amount not only to replace the tire, but an additional fee to put the tire on. Needless to say, we left Toyota with limited time to get to McDonald, so we called because we had to drive very careful to avoid an accident. They assured us that we would be serviced as long as we made it by 5:00 pm. We made it there at 4:59 pm. I'm sure they were ready to go home, but they immediately serviced our vehicle. They were polite and even thanked us for our business. They replaced two tires in 10 minutes! They could have very well saved our lives and we are truly grateful. I highly recommend. McDonald's patched a tire that I know many tire stores will not do nowadays, because it was in the outer third of the tread (This is mainly a ploy to sell a new tire rather than repair the leak). The service was prompt. A technician was walking toward my car before I fully stopped, even though they were very busy. Most of the guys seemed self-directed--they see what needs to be done and do it. The boss is floating around, coordinating things and addressing problems.
