We'd really love to gift this to them, but not sure if we could find someone willing to travel to the middle of nowhere or even afford it. Makenzie made our dream come true! I loved her website a lot. It's got great style and a lot of character. When I reached out to her she responded right away and was clear about her pricing which was actually very reasonable. We did have some quotes that were significantly lower, however, those photographers then charge $20 per picture once you receive the gallery. That's not what we wanted. We don't want our whole family messaging each other about which ones they want or make duplicated purchases. We just want a full gallery for all members to download. On the day of, Makenzie arrived early and we walked around to pick the spots best for the pictures. She waited so patiently for our big family (including 5 kids) to get there. Once we got started, she knows exactly what to do, how to direct us and made sure we got everything, the big family as a whole and each family (and even some animals)! Everybody loved how she worked and for a bunch of us that didn't know how to pose we enjoyed the session a lot! The pictures came out after xmas, they were beautiful, organic and so wholesome! I can't recommend her more!

A dear friend of mine has been going to Andrea since her now 2-year old was born. I started…read morefollowing her on social media and have always admired her work. Like most people, although I knew we wanted newborn photos I didn't take the time to book anything prior to my delivery date. Once my precious babies were born I looked into a few different photographers I follow on social media but most either had no availability or were too expensive. I ended up booking with an inexpensive, new, local photographer who had never done a newborn shoot before. Life with twins had got the best of us and their dad was called into work that morning so we didn't get any photos with our babies. I showed my boyfriend Andrea's work and although I thought it was too pricey, he told me to book her (You get what you pay for and I never seem to learn my lesson and it drives him crazy). Needless to say my babies were already a month old and Christmas break was ending so their siblings would be returning to their moms and couldn't be included in the shoot I booked for the upcoming weekday. Andrea called within minutes of me booking online, I told her about our situation and she offered to get us in two days later (on a blackout date) just so all our family could be included. We went to her home where her hospitality exceeded our expectations, my family was so comfortable. Her & her husband were amazing with our babies, handling them with such care and grace. Andrea was wonderful to work with throughout the whole process and we were impressed with her professionalism and her quality of the work is phenomenal! I will forever cherish the moments she captured. Turn around time was within a week and we even had the opportunity to purchase some prints from her which I'm obsessed with. They were so kind to assist me…read morein getting family portraits done at the last minute as my previously booked photographer (to remain nameless) in town flaked on me at the last minute. They do their photos in their backyard studio, and while the location was initially somewhat off putting, I've never had a more pleasant experience EVER. Even my husband who is hard to please and hates getting pictures done, enjoyed himself. They are very experienced and the pictures turned out fantastic!!! They allow you to view the pictures after the shoot right away and you get to choose which ones you like best and to make changes if any are necessary. You do have to pay extra for the digital files, but this experience was worth it, and they are worth every dime. We will definitely use them again in the future!!!
