Well, I tried! After being cautioned by many friends I proceeded to store my boat and get a slip at Adelaide Point. Two slips actually! Just got the boat out two months ago and getting a new bill (WITH A RATE INCREASE). Pay in full by July 4th or get the rate increase! WOW! I got fuel yesterday around $675.00. Hit my card more than twice that amount and now I get to wait to get my overcharge back. Fortunately, I haven't recieved any electric bill yet. I was informed today however, that charging for electric might not materialize. That would be smart! I need service to my boat. I need the Salon AC fixed and a vaccume pump replaced. Can't get to it for a few weeks. If I get my own repair man I give Adelaide back 10%. (Had to do this twice. Once in storage for buffing and waxing) once in the slip which they didn't charge me. All in all this is already becoming more and more concerning! Had problems with the previous management after they moved my boat location twice before the season began. This is why I didnt do business with them last year. The management has how changed, I guess. Anyway, Jamie and Chad are great to work with but apparently someone else makes up the rules that crippling the Marina and its image! Ive called 4 times in a week for information with no return call. Today I spoke with Jamie. She is very kind and understanding. My overcharge should be returned in a couple days. Yes, the rate already went up! In months! Desperation?!!! Chad and Jamie are fantastic! Best thing for Adelaide Point! Whoever decides policies, rates, services and storage. After only a couple active months and I've already had enough and feel taken advantage of! Shouldn't have to take up time and energy keeping an open eye and chasing alternatives! Now I know! read more
