We had an amazing experience with 3rd Coast Rentals! First and foremost they have amazing customer service and made the entire rental process easy and stress free. They drop the drop off the boat in a number of lakes so you can choose what is closest to you. It surprised me that this business was family run because of how impressive their fleet of rentals are. You will definitely appreciate it though when you don't have to deal with any of the typical corporate nonsense you usually have to deal with when renting from big companies. Especially when it comes to their customer service! The day of our reservation the weather was rainy in the morning and they were more than accommodating and allowed us to push the drop off to noon. They even threw in some blankets since it was kind of chilly. They also gave us a tube with no extra costs since there was one available that day. They really went above and beyond to make sure we made the most of our time of the water despite the weather conditions in the morning. To top it off, the boat that we rented, the 90 hp Pontoon, was clean and in perfect condition. I would HIGHLY recommend everyone to rent through 3rd Coast Rentals. I booked online and a few minutes later Austin called to ask me some questions and to confirm I made the reservation. He asked if we had kids and made sure he could have the correct life jackets available. The next morning Ron called and said he was ready with the boat. We were about 15 minutes away. When we arrived, he was waiting with some paperwork for me to sign. He answered all of the questions I had and even gave a quick demonstration of how to dock the boat. At the end of the day, Ron's son was waiting for us and made sure we didn't leave anything. He brought the boat around to the car and helped us with the cooler. He did a final inspection and we were good to go. I would definitely rent from them again! Great service, reasonable prices, and very responsive. I really appreciated them calling me after I booked and to let us know they were ready with the boat. As for the boat, we rented a Pontoon boat that fits 10 people. It was easy to drive, anchor, and dock. The boat was very clean! It came with a full tank and after about 8 hours, it was still on full. What a great day on the lake thanks to 3rd Coast Rentals! If you are visiting Muskegon, check out 3rd Coast Rentals. We booked the Regal speed boat for a full day this past Tuesday online. The booking site was friendly and easy to pick times and add-ons. Austin called us the day prior of reserved date to confirm sizing for life vest that were better suited for tubbing. Upon arrival to pick up the boat, Nick was extremely friendly in reviewing the boat features and use of the tube. He also recommended Bear Lake as a great place to tube as well as a few spots to stop for a bite to eat. The boat was clean and in great condition. Drop off in the evening was just as seamless. My family took a last minute trip along Lake Michigan from Chicago to Traverse Bay and back. We stopped in Muskegon for 2 days and with very little notice, 3rd Coast rented us a Pontoon boat and tube and delivered it to Lake Muskegon for us. Everyone was very helpful. The lady who answered the phone, took my number, and within 10 minutes got he info I needed and was able to set up a rental and delivery. Nick the drop off man was very timely and helpful in showing around the boat. The pick up guy was the dad of Nick and he was just as helpful and friendly and arrived just as I was docking the boat to help me. All around great service. They were very friendly to work with. They went above and beyond to help book our reservation and determine the best boat type and marina location we should select based on where we were staying. I rented the Bayliner boat for 2 weeks over the 4th. From contacting them a few months back to delivery and pick up of the boat they were top notch. This is the best customer service you could ask for. They were in constant communication and helpful every time I emailed/texted with questions on the boat. Great experience with 3rd coast rentals, the boat and owners were awsome. We were having trouble finding a rental for our week vacation on Wolf lake a few days before our trip. They delivered right to the lake, it looked to be a brand-new 20' Bennington with a 90 hp Yamaha outboard, stocked with everything you would ever need from tubing equipment, ton of life jackets, anchors, ropes, bumbers and a great Blue Tooth Radio. Rented a Pontoon boat from 3rd Coast in August 2018. Couldn't be more pleased with the simple rental process and quality of equipment. Can't beat the delivery to your lake with full explanation on safe operation. We took the kids tubing, had a go at waterskiing, took sunset cruises, and fished for bluegill. The Bluetooth sound system is great and some island music really relaxes you. Will be back next year for another rental. read more

Absolutely loved them! There was a little issue with the boat we had rented(nothing caused by them, just one of the fluke situations) so they laid out all our options and upgraded our boat and our tube free of charge. When we wanted to throw anchor and walk up to the beach for lunch they helped us and told us they would Help us anchor as many times as we wanted.
