Extremely professional flight school for anyone who wishes to take off their pilot career the right way. Very well maintained fleet and very well trained instructors. ADF offers simulators for various aircraft, even for jet transition. I got my commercial license at ADF a while back and am gladly surprised it has become the best flight school in South Florida. Great place to learn the joy of flight and turn it into a great career. read more

DO NOT go to this School! They are greedy criminals! They do not have good business ethics! They owe us a simple refund of $500, they have promised the refund multiple times but refuse to return our $500 dollars. Terrible business practices! Now we are forced to take them to court to get our money back. read more

Unfortunately I cannot give this school 5 stars due to the extremely rude man they have working dispatch named David. He has a terrible attitude and makes flying at adf something I do not look forward to. 2 stars because my instructor is good however having to interact with David on a regular basis has ruined the experience for me. Id rather take my money to a school where students are treated with respect. read more

If I could I would give 0 stars to this "flight school" they basically steal your money and time... me as a local student didn't had the opportunity to attend classes as the international students because "they didn't had time for me" and when I asked for my money back they told me they did not return it and that I had 18 months to use it or it will be lost! Basically stolen. I'm going to sue this aweful flight school read more

I've been going to this school for about a year now and I have to say I don't regret a single day I've been with them. The maintenance on the planes is top notch, keeping up with any and all discrepancies. They have really cool sims including a Boeing 737 which, I have to say, is awesome! The instructors are very knowledgeable and they programs they offer are very structured. The Staff is very kind and courteous and consistently helping all of their students with anything and everything. I would recommend this flight school to any and all trying to get their pilots certificates. read more

Adf it's a bad academy where the owners are just interesting in your money, they cancel visa of International students to keep their deposits, there are a lot similar cases like mine which they kept my money. stay awake from this academy if you want to avoid problems. read more

Took my written exam there. The desk was clean but the room was a tad too cold for my taste. The reference book had no marks and they have a cool expo marker for the transparency sheet. It was a nice testing room. read more

it s true that they have good safety record, it s true that hey have competitive prices on the pilot training programs, it is not true that you became pilot in short time, it is not true that they have planes availables to fly anytime you want, it is not true that you will save money, because you have to spend more time waiting for the check rides. the owners are more worried to make money that to make pilots, don t have a decent places to ground school, the planes are to olds, with a lot of age problems, not enough FAA check riders because it is a bussines and they dont want to share, so everybody is delay, IF YOUR DREAM IS BE A PILOT, IT WILL TURN INTO THE WORST OF YOUR NIGHTMARES IF YOU CHOOSE ADF AIRWAYS.. read more

Established in 1986.

Alex Derly Farkas was in persuit of becoming a Commercial Pilot, she started as an Flight Attendat in Colombia and afterwards travelled to the US with her familiy where she started her flight training. After a few years of expirience, she started in one office renting one plane at the Tamiami Airport. This is where ADFs story started.

If I could rate less than one star I would…read more I was excited to begin my journey to potentially get my pilots license. Upon arrival we went to the plane that was not prepared to be flown, causing a delay of approximately 90 Minutes upon which time we got to depart. During the flight portion, Mr. Valdes was profoundly unprofessional, any instruction he gave was yelled a the top of his lungs, and was generally unhelpful. Upon the conclusion of our flight, I discovered the pilot was actually not currently certified to provide instruction, meaning this time cannot be counted towards the journey of getting a pilots license anyways. Steer clear of this establishment, if it manages to stick around much longer.

I got all of my licenses from Private, Instrument, to Commercial back in 2020. I didnt have any family in aviation therefore i didnt even know where to start. I checked out other flight schools in Miami Executive but all they gave me was a price list of how much it costs for the rental and cfi fees, no guidance whatsoever. I went to ADF and they gave me a curriculum and the estimated costs for all the training. It was very detailed and I was quite satisfied. Before I even signed up with them they tell you realistic prices so you know what to expect and not try to cash grab you unlike other flight schools who promise that you will spend less but then end up spending way more. Anyway, I recently acquired my Flight Instructor license and my Instrument Instructor license with them. The process was great and organized and I got assistance from them in finding the appropriate Designated Pilot Examiner so I can do my Check Ride for those licenses. It was definitely a great experience and I was given a strong foundation in terms of Knowledge, Skills, and Good and safe habits from the start so I can pursue a career for the airlines. I definitely recommend this school if you want a structured education in Aviation. read more

Got all my pilot licenses here in this school, after struggling to find a good school I found Adf back in 2019 and I still come and train here.since I joined they started taking care of me no matter what I needed they even provide special training for students who struggle to learn and they also provide different payment options. The instructors I had and even the other ones where always around me ready to answer my questions and help me improve in someway, I disagree with people that come here to spread lies. me and all the people I met during my training always had a good experience, I wish everyone could come and visit and see how great their staff is. read more

I currently attend ADF airways and I don't regret it at all. The administration have been so kind to me,and the instructors are extremely cooperative and make sure to work around your schedule they have a wide array of hours to accommodate for anyone's flight hours. As well as being a nice school they take Covid extremely seriously nobody is allowed in the school without a mask, large barricades to protect students and mandatory monthly COVID tests to ensure the students as well as instructors are safe. Overall this is a great school and gladly would recommend to others. read more
