I chose photos so he then took the controls so I could enjoy the sights and take pictures. Retiring to the airport he gave me the option of trying to land! I had a great time. He flew from Tamiami Airport out to Key Biscayne and Miami Beach. During the flight, he was able to take controls (without any prior flying experience) for a large portion of the flight. The experience was recorded and the pilot was extremely friendly. It was a great experience for my boyfriend and if we are ever able to take flight lessons, it will be with these people.

From the initial telephone booking through to us waving goodbye, this is how customer service and care should be. I booked in with Alex who is friendly and helpful answering all of my initial questions. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff and our pilot, Mauro who is both entertaining and knowledgeable of the area he was raised in. The flight was great, Mauro showing us the sights that were breathtaking. Miami at night in a plane at 77 feet is breathtaking. My wife and I enjoyed champagne and the evening colors. We flew over south beach, fisher island, star island, over the dolphins stadium and the heat stadium and so much more that we didn't even know existed out here. The old prohibition safe house out at sea was a revelation. After landing, Mike the owner spent some time with us and rounded off a great experience. I was…read moreexpecting to first have a classroom lesson but nope, instructor Maria Fernanda introduced herself and we boarded the Cessna 172. She explained the controls to me and told me what we were going to do that day and we were off! I must admit I was pretty nervous having two lives as my responsibility but the flight was amazing. We flew over South Beach and back to the airport, it was a short 45 minute experience and so worth it! Now I want to learn more but have yet to receive the email the staff said they would send me with the class information. Much recommended for anyone who is curious about flying and want to try a bit of adrenaline!

Some nerves and apprehension I had intially subsided because of these two giving people and their enthusiasm, and our pilot Diego! Having never been in a plane like that I did not know what to expect, but they took the time to explain everything to us and answer every question we had. I could not get enough, I did not want the experience of flying the friendly skies to end!! We started off by going east over the Atlantic Ocean and then heading west over the Everglades. Wow it looks so amazing up that high. It was a beautiful and very hot day, and clear skies allowed for some once-in-a-lifetime views that we got to experience and capture forever. Diego was such a pleasure and his passion and story of why he flies and loves being a flight instructor was very inspiring. ADF offers simulators for various aircraft, even for jet transition. I got my commercial license at ADF a while back and am gladly surprised it has become the best flight school in South Florida.
