I was looking for a size 13 in dress shoes and asked if she could help me locate a pair. She responded by saying, "I mean I would have to scan every single shoe." Since I understood that finding the size might take some effort, I replied, "Awesome, I'll start bringing you shoes." From that point on, it felt as though my request was viewed as an inconvenience rather than a normal customer service interaction. Each time I approached her and her coworker with shoes to scan, their conversations would stop, their smiles would disappear, and their body language made me feel like I was interrupting or bothering them. As a customer, that made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I understand that checking inventory can be time-consuming, but helping customers locate the right size is a basic part of the shopping experience. I was surprised by the attitude, especially from someone in a supervisory role, where professionalism and customer service should set the example for the rest of the team. I hope this feedback is helpful, as I believe every customer should feel welcomed and treated with respect when asking for assistance.

There is no shortage of tactical clothing that will make work in the field a lot easier. The selection of clothing is for male and female, and the clothing is very well made, too. Plus, there is a nice selection of boots in the back for both sexes. What I thought was unique was the caps that featured a Velcro loop circle on the front, and you could buy a variety of different patches with Velcro on the back in order to place on the cap you choose. This way you can buy one hat and several interchangeable patches. Pretty nifty! A plus is that they also sell Black Rifle Coffee! WooHoo! The people on the sales floor were happy and helpful, too. They seemed to like their job, which equates to a good company in my opinion. So, all you FBI, police, fire, EMT, and other peeps like that, what are you waiting for? This store is open and ready for you! And, for any wannabes, it's open for you, too. Your money is good there.

Multiple shirts were there and were not located anywhere else in the store. The manager Tami A, stated that a customer must have placed them there earlier, she said that she saw a man walking around with them, all of them, (at least 6 of them all sizes from small to 2X) and he must have just placed them there. She refused to honor the price. As I was leaving the mall, I passed back by where the shirts were earlier, they were placed back in the same spot, but the sign had been removed. I confronted Tami about not being truthful. She admitted that she had not been truthful, but still failed to honor the price. This is ridiculous, she's a manager and showed this type of character in front of her staff. I will not ever step foot back in Bloomingdale's Grand Prairie outlet again.

I found shoes that I really liked, but they were a half size too big, so my mom and I went looking around the outlet. Store after store, we couldn't find anything that went well with my dress! I had the first pair of shoes on my mind the whole time. We came back and grabbed the shoes and talked to a sales associate about it. She was sweet and helpful, and directed us to the dressing rooms. There, another sales associate helped us, opened up some of those gel soles out of the package and fitted them onto the shoe. They fit! We got the soles and the shoes, and the outlet gave 15% off to military, teachers, or students! I am a teacher myself, so I even saved a little more! Overall, great discounts, wonderful service.

I had never been to a Cato before but I noticed that they sell sizes from juniors all the way up…read morethrough plus. As a famine resistant woman I like the opportunity to wear clothes that are attractive and as flattering as they can be on a pudge like me, and I liked the fact that they sold clothes for all sizes. So, I went in hoping that they would have some cute stuff. And they did. I didn't like everything in the store, but I did find a number of tops that I did like and they were much cheaper than Torrid or heaven forbid Lane Bryant. Probably on par with Avenue or a little cheaper even. I found t-shirts with prints for $10 that were cute and flattering and some more tunic style ones that can dress up or down for $20 that I adored. I would have expected similar tops to be 50-75% more at Torrid and 100% more at Lane Bryant. They seemed to have a pretty good selection for bottoms as well but I'd already bought all the bottoms I need so didn't really look for those. The staff was friendly without being pushy or obsequious. They do have the store divided up in regular sizes, plus sizes and little girl sizes. I would prefer TBH to have the plus and regular all together. It always feels a bit Rosa Parks to be delegated to the 'fat' side of the store. But at least it is the same store here, unlike Dress Barn which makes a whole separate entrance for fatties... which is always a bit disconcerting. Most of the clothes were on the casual, business casual, or date nite side rather than truly formal. They also had shoes, purses, jewelry etc. but I didn't really shop those. The clothes were mostly fashionable and they would fit a variety of body shapes. I will definitely go back - it's hard to find cute clothes for cheap especially in larger sizes. I think the sizes went up to 28 but I am not sure. I didn't have trouble finding my size which is on the lower end of the plus spectrum.
