The store itself is pretty clean and organized. If you find a misplaced item that isn't on sale, it was usually someone who just left it there. I totally understand that since I love buying off the sale rack. I was able to buy 3 tops and a dress for $76 bucks!! If you're a young professional like me, I definitely recommend coming here for inexpensive work wear. The staff is also very friendly and Robin helped me with my purchase today. I'm a total cheapskate. I'll just put that out there. Poor, too. But I think I'd still be a cheapskate even if I wasn't. So this is not really my usual kind of place to shop, but my kid was totally in the mood to spend Christmas cash, and she'd been wanting to check out the store, so... okie doke. Just realize that this is another one of those things that I'm doing JUST because you're cute and I love you, kid. I'd had a hell of a day. I was totally over my hair and had it in a bun (not a cute twisty no-way-to-tell-I-hate-the-world-because-this-shit-is-GROSS bun, but twist it and strangle it in a rubber band as punishment bun) by 9 a.m., had on plain old jeans and a sweatshirt/top thingy and very very comfy shoes that had seen better days. And I'd just eaten my weight in fish and blackberry cobbler. So, they're not really used to MY type either, I'm guessing. I braced for snoot. I was totally ready for it, but these girls were AWESOME. There were two of them and I'm so sad I don't have their names, but they were just so sweet and so helpful (and very generous to overlook my general not-fanciness). And yes, I know there are commissions involved, but that doesn't stop other people from being snots! They really did go above and beyond, but not in a "please buy more things" way. They were just plain NICE. The store - if you've been you know. It's corporate, so they all carry the same things. It's pretty much all beautiful, and usually about one digit more than I'd pay for not-my-own-wedding clothing - but they do have great sales. And the shoes! Lots of cute shoes. LOTS. I must say, though - this location has hit the jackpot with terrific managers and salespeople, which makes all the difference. If you're in the market (oho, so clever!), definitely give this location a try. read more

I have been a customer of WHBM for years and will not step foot in this one again. This sales team is not helpful, they are aggressive. I have even talked with the manager and tried it again to my avail. HAWKS....go elsewhere. Too bad since the clothing is amazing. I now shop closer to work. read more

BUT the top I want I am going to get next month for sure! I LOVED IT!!!! The girl i was working with is Casey! she was great! she also looked past my hair being pulled up no make up and baggy work clothes on.... i felt pretty in the clothes even lookin like that... This is my favorite place to shop. I was able to buy 5 pieces of jewelry for 70.00. I qualified for a $20 off coupon and I had a $50 gift card so I needed paying only $20 out of pocket. The jewelry was already 50% off so it was a awesome deal. read more

I am a long-time fan and customer of White House Black Market and have been more than satisfied with my purchases over the years. I recently purchased a pair of Black Ponte Slim PantStyle: 570053650 from my local White House Black Market, expecting the same quality I've always experienced. However, after washing the item as directed, I put on the pants and noticed a small hole below one of the belt loops. I immediately tried to exchange them at The Highlands Shopping Center and spoke with the store manager, named Amy. As I was explaining what was wrong and expressing my wish to exchange the pants for a pair that was not defective, she was angry and blamed me for the defective product. Saying I pulled at them too hard while pulling them up. She never offered a solution other than to order a new pair at my expense. At that point I called the corporate office and spoke with both Jessica and Shay. They were very helpful in solving my dilemma.I'm disappointed that a company like White House Black Market would provide such substandard customer service from a retail store manager. Amy has to be by far the the rudest retail manager in the industry. read more

My sister recommended WHBM after searching the town for a perfect LBD and finding it here. I was looking to revamp my closet and decided to check this place out. I was immediately assisted by Amy, who set me up with a fitting room and just kept the outfits coming, along with shoes and accessories. She even took the time to find me sale items. It was by far the best shopping experience I've ever had. Love the clothes and the customer service is OUTSTANDING. Amy and the rest of the staff were friendly and gave excellent style tips. Clothes are a little pricey, but they do have good sales. read more

I have been to this place a couple of times. I must say that I always come out of there satisfied. Just this weekend, I returned to this store to buy more tights (the first pair I bought were AWESOME). The sales ppl were very helpful in finding them for me. One slight problem, they only had one pair left but had a special (2 for $20). Well, turns out not as big deal. The sales lady that was helping me (wish I'd gotten her name) tried to order the second pair for me online. When that didn't work, she called a location (which was out of my way) to find out if they had more tights. They had them so she had them ring me up for one pair there and the other at this location so that I would get the sale price. She also asked that they ship them to my house so that I wouldn't have to travel anymore than necessary. I think she went above and beyond for me. I applied for a job here not that long ago...and I didn't get a call back for weeks until the other day. They basically acted like they had never interviewed with me. The lady on the phone was so rude. She said she didn't think it was gonna work out because she thought I didn't "sound" enthusiastic about the position. This was all because I said I wouldn't be able to work until 9. The whole conversation was confusing because she didn't let me know what they were looking for. She was incredibly short with me on the phone. I called back to apologize and tell her I didn't realize what she was asking and she was like "NO YOU SHOULD HAVE CLARIFIED BEFORE...FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE EVERYTHING." I kept telling the lady I can do anything I just didn't understand. She's like 'YOU KNOW WHAT NO...I DON'T THINK I'LL EVER CALL YOU FOR A POSITION EVER AGAIN..GOOD LUCK ON YOUR SEARCH. Like really? I mean it was my own fault for being confused and not "sounding" the part but that is NO EXCUSE to be rude. I wouldn't want to work for them anyways. You don't treat people like that. read more
